re: Jack Bech commits to Vanderbilt

When you have 4.4 hands and run a 4.8 40 then you make a decision like this....also his former QB Holstein...(La Tech gray shirt) ..family screwed up his recruitment so he and his family learned from that! It's only a verbal commitment this is far from over!

Had a recruiting visit to La Tech...they pushed for a commitment on visit as another kid was coming from Houston area next weekend and they where only taking one but good ole dad thought they owed Boston College a visit as they had been to Lafayette to watch him practice ...well next weekend they went to BC..didn't get an offer from BC...kid from Houston Committed...hence the Harvard Commitment..lucky La Tech gave dem gray shirt option...bird in the hand is worth 2 in bush....4.6 hell Joe Burrow ran that...the days of LSU settling for avg speed WR's is over...new offense has every 4-5 star WR with 4.4 speed wanting to be part of the system!

He walked away from La Tech visit knowing full well JD Head was coming in the next weekend...he rolled the dice and it didn't work out for him? Now he's in gray shirt status...don't think the Bech family wanted to get in situation that good offers would suddenly disappear like they did for Holstein!

I don’t think it’s all that uncommon for a kid to shave .20 off a 40 time before they leave college

4.6 & 4.7 will play if the kid has the right athletic attributes.

Listen to Cody’s Worshams podcast with ja’marr chase. Dude admits that he didn’t like weights before he came to LSU & realized what it takes to be great. His speed numbers are going to much better leaving LSU then when he came in.

Now I’m not advocating for Bech. He isn’t LSU material at WR. But a lot like the kid from Rummel that committed to Vandy early last year, Bech is going to play himself into better offers during his SR year. It prob won’t be LSU but some upper tier schools will chase him

Again not true. Never went on visit to Tech before Head committed. And Tech never said anything to him about another qb coming in. They told him the whole time he was their guy and they were waiting on him and he could take his time. Were did you come up with all of this?

Well I guess coach Holtz is lying to me....dude you are drink the Holstein kool-aid....you moving to Zachary to follow the younger one who dad didn't think could compete with Walker Howard so they up and moved to a school where he won't have competition !

Yeah, I’m bias bc I know the family. But I think you’re right LE. Will be a lot of schools watching walker Howard, he will def earn something bigger school offers in my opinion. He’s going to be a good get for someone.

He will never play a down at Vanderbilt...he's better than Vandy!
