No we have to keep changing DL coaches otherwise we'll never defeat Voldemort.

I would guess thats all dependent on his health and where he is medically by the end of the season.

I think they’re waiting until it’s not a complete PR nightmare to let him go before doing anything officially

Letting him go publicly during the season isn’t going to impact our chances of getting the replacement we want

Feel like I must have missed something here. Was there more information on what exactly the issue is with his health? Just curious why we're discussing letting him go mid season now. He hasn't done anything, good or bad, so I figure your comment is related to his health status. Seems like we would at least let him "retire" if he was unable to keep coaching due to his health issues. Feel bad for the guy.

Also, is there someone that's been circulated as a replacement? Couldn't tell by your post if rumblings of a new target for dline coach are already coming up.

No chance he goes anywhere. LSU doesn't do this. At worst, he'll slide to an admin spot and still help the coaching staff while they get a DL coach replacement.

Need to cut ties and get someone who can stay longer than a year or less

If his health is sufficient, they’d love to have him back to avoid more turnover at that position. No one knows that answer yet I’m assuming.

Think we could get Karl Dunbar away from Pittsburgh if Lindsey can’t return?

I’ll continue to tout Kyle Williams, who’s doing a great job coaching at Ruston HS. Checks all the boxes: former LSU defensive lineman, All-Pro at the position for the Buffalo Bills, has strong ties to North Louisiana and is already actively involved in coaching. What’s not to like?

So he's not even going to practices I take it? Did he have heart surgery or something?

Hmm, elite DL coach and recruiter. I know a guy that is available and wouldn’t cost much since we’re already paying him…..

I feel like LSUs history as of late is firing coaches with a result of continuous yearly payments to those coaches unless the retain other gigs.

the roster he left us.His own ecxpertise DL left us with
1 or 2 players.Just like Les left our OL hardly any depth.

OnceO won the championship he didn’t give a shite….he indicated that when interviewed about being fired….”you are paying me 17 mil to leave: what door should I use”
Most coaches when interviewed would say they wanted to stay and compete with their team
O coached kids for years to compete and he quit on them
He is a phony
