If this was some off the radar kid from Bama's class I may be a little concerned, but apparently LSU has been recruiting him for a long time and perhaps had a silent from him prior to the Bama offer.
I think the coaches probably have a good enough feel for the kid, and if they thought he was playing games they wouldn't entertain it.

Webb is listed as OLB. Kennedy is now listed ILB. I’d take both. I’d take Kennedy over White every day of the week.
