Well if it’s a package deal with his brother who is a RB, which is a position LSU absolutely does not need, then they aren’t getting Cooley. It’s would be dumb to waste NIL money on his brother just to get him. Might as well start looking elsewhere.
Now if we’re talking an elite safety like Downs or one of the ND or Texas starting safeties then yes I’d probably spend some useless money on their brother just to get them. But Cooley is not that good to be doing that.

I don't think the brother is out looking for NIL money. He's looking for playing time since he's a senior.
I think giving up a spot on the roster for this year for a senior RB who has P4 experience is worth it to get a solid safety prospect with multiple years of eligibility left considering our current situation at the position. His brother won't get much play time here though.
