Is there site that publishes this information. Or is it privileged information?

In Louisiana, documents related to student-athletes' Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) agreements are exempt from public records laws, meaning they are considered private

I used to be really into this shite, but it does the soul loads by not paying attention until Signing Days.
Kade Phillips last year “shut down and locked in with LSU” 3 days before signing day only to flip to Texas on National Signing day. It’s all about leverage and who’s gonna pay the most.

Yes, I understand how this all works, I was just curious how much money is actually being thrown around. I’ve heard some really obscene numbers.

It’s not public, but it should be.

Honestly, I think it would severely hurt fan support across sports if they knew how much some of these guys are making. Also, if they’re making that much, they’re professionals. Make them speak to the media in postgames, etc.

Also, it would help with fan expectations. The Pirates and Rays fans don’t expect to win the WS. If we spent $2 million on our basketball team last year while everyone else spent $5M+, well the results speak for themselves.

From what I understand it's far less than their NIL valuation. My AI says it could be as low as 10% of the NIL valuation. Most are probably making less than $100k per season.

Some kids get a bunch of money, most just get 60-90k/yr probably.

Going to be troubling to see how many of these athletes making over a mil for college will go broke.

As of today 78% of NFL players are broke after a few years of leaving. 60% NBA players. Giving 17-19 year olds millions is not good for anyone except the economy. They should be forced to take a college credit course of how to invest and manage money before being allowed to make millions. It’s only going to get worse now.

The saddest thing about our low 2+mill we spent on bball is they weren’t even worth it, so now we’ve increased it to get the same 2mil$+ players from Mids for a lot more. The best players in the portal are still going to WINNING teams for the same money. No matter how much you give Elite players they still want to win.

To be fair, he was better than our entire team so it was a great investment.
