Caterpillar....I understand where you are coming from, I've had to listen to it for years from my family. But...everyone seems to forget that his brother plays and will start this year for OM. He and his entire family are going to Oxford to watch his first collegiate start...... How can he not be interested in them? He feels like a star when he's in Oxford. His brother will be extremely upset if he does not go to OM, in an interview he didn't even want to discuss the notion of him going somewhere else. Point of all these details is that NONE of this was the case McKnight and many others they have had high hopes for. I think he knows deep down he probably belongs at Bama or LSU , but I do think he has a lot love for OM as well

Ole miss has some guys around Philadelphia that are major factors with in state kids. I'll give you an example from last year. I think Ward was a top 1-2 DL. They locked him up even though everyone wanted him.

The big boosters have much less sway OOS. McKnight to ole miss could have had legs.... Wasnt Wilson on their staff at that time?

Richardson wasn't committed to anyone until signing day, that's why he had the announcement at his high school. That's the first I've ever heard of him committing to LSU then switching back to Bama because some Bama players visited him. My point was that everyone thought we had a shot at Richardson all along but the reality of it was that he had his mind made up for Bama long before signing day.

If I remember correctly, there was a rumor that Richardson was a silent commit to us or had us number one, but Saban got on him earlier and harder, thus the Bama commitment. There was also some smoke that he was going to switch to us on NSD, but he ended with Bama.

Never said it was.

I just had my rant so everyone can put this in perspective. I understand the brother situation is unique to the other ones.

He still won't be a rebel.

Story is mostly true from the way I remember it. Not sure if it was players are Saban him self but that doesn't really matter.

Neither. Dead periods prohibit contact from both. Look at the REC members in the background of his announcement for your answer.

Lmao, what a great thread. I wont go into all the other delusion posts, but I chuckled out loud when I saw the post that stated Saban sent current players to TR's announcement to physically intimidate him into switching back to UA. lol.

The cameras missed it during his announcement, but AJmac and his dad were standing in the back pounding their fist in their hand. Scared the shite out of poor Trent.

I'd love for him to come to LSU but it's not going to happen. When has Saban lost out on a top recruit he really wanted other then Clowney ?

So are you implying that Bama will payoff Nkd too?

Not necessarily, but nothing they do surprises me. Who knows, Dad could be appointed Head of Surgery for the UA Medical Center, or The State could establish their own Surgeon General position for him. I'm telling you, NOTHING is out of play for the little bastard.

If rn was a silent to bama or bama led then he would have committed already because he wanted to committ early. THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THE NUMBER 1 PLAYER IN THE NATION GOING TO BAMA TO BE A STATUE ON THERE DLINE SO THE LB CAN MAKE ALL THE PLAYS!!! This kid has his mind on the NFL and going to bama will cost him money. If he was smart he would come play DT at LSU.

I'm not trying to flame, but didnt that "little bastard" take LSU from the pits of the SEC to national champions? Do you really not remember what you were before he got there?

Just curious...

gumps are all lol'ing at us in this thread, but if you go several pages back in their recruiting thread they are all sweating bullets about RN and crying about how he fits in a 3-4.

If there was a position RN was tailor made for it's 3-4 DE

He could play in either position, but he mostly sees himself as a 4-3 DE, which he would probably dominate. He wants to be like Julius Peppers, too bad y'all don't have Sal Sunseri's "i used to coach Julius Peppers" pitch anymore
