Saban and Alabama take recruiting to
the highest level. Whatever it takes. He is relentless.
It kills me that he can come into LA and carries
the clout as if he was still coaching the Tigers.
I wish high school coaches would run his arse back to Alabama. They don't they look for recommendations!

I know most would laugh at this....but, i'm hearing its an OM/LSU battle. My brother and sister went to OM (don't know where they went wrong) and they are OBSESSED with his recruitment. Neal McCready....the RebelGrove insider recently came out saying its b/w OM/LSU. Says he got this from a family member....my brother and sister have always spoke highly of McCready and say he never reports BS. Who really knows, but just thought I would share. The Bleacher Report video is definitely interesting and he is sending a message to GA/Bama that he does not want to play in those schemes...he makes that pretty clear. I think we have a very good shot at landing this kid.... just my .02

Except that TR was committed to Alabama for a long time

No comparison here. It should be noted that TR changed his commitment to LSU on signing day, and then Saban sent players to HS...."You have to honor your commitment to Coach Saban". and the rest is history.

I don't get where people just assume RN is all Alabama at the end of the day.

Why is that the "feeling"?

It doesn't come from anything other than his HS coach having some Bama ties.

He fits better in LSU's scheme. and he likes us

Richardson wasn't committed to anyone until signing day, that's why he had the announcement at his high school. That's the first I've ever heard of him committing to LSU then switching back to Bama because some Bama players visited him. My point was that everyone thought we had a shot at Richardson all along but the reality of it was that he had his mind made up for Bama long before signing day.

Remember the breakdowns of the Lache Seastrunk video at our camp? This one means the same thing. Nothing. I love you guys optimism and will never fault you for it because it's much better than the negativity this board has at times but I just don't have the same feeling you guys have.

Pretty sad that some on here think we can't compete with Bama to land this kid... Have none of you seen what miles has pulled off the last 3 weeks in recruiting? 8 OOS commits in that time frame...don't underestimate Miles on this one

Back to the topic, lol, Doesn't it seem that Saban never gets beat on a player he wants? Or is it this propoganda machine that, when they lose out on a player the story goes that Bama never offered?

i think it's a propoganda machine.. i'm pretty sure they haven't gotten ALL the prospects they wanted.. i'm hoping that fournette turns them down also..

LSU and Bama are very similar believe it or not.. they both have a lot to offer potential prospects, i guess it just comes down to what the athlete decides that they want.. i mean afterall, they are just kids making a very important life decision

Kid sounds like he wants to play in a 4-3.
