I guess the Etienne rumors died out?

Watching UF play Oregon State. Etienne makes a hell of a play on a shite throw and reminded me that there were some rumors floating around that he was interested in hitting the portal with intent to come to LSU. Is that still a thing?

I’d assume it’ll be pretty common going forward for a star player to: be unhappy at current school, test the transfer portal waters as soon as the season is over, current school catches wind, current school money whips them into staying
We’ll more than likely hear about it between steps 1 and 2 then as steps 3 and 4 randomly happen you’ll end up with no more info and never hear their name associated with transferring again

I thought the opposite. I figured he would play the Los Vegas bowl to boost his resume and be in the portal tomorrow or Monday. I figure he will be transferred by end of the week. No insider. Just spaghetti on the wall. Gut feeling he will be a tiger.

I have no clue what’s going on with him, if anything.
But I do have data points that suggest he would be likely to not be a transfer candidate to LSU.
Reports of family bitterness toward the Tigers is at the top of the list.

In fairness, they’re justified in being pissed at the fanbase. People made death threats and their lives generally miserable ahead of the Natty in 2019. That kinda shite is not ok.
