I feel sorry for the kids who don't want to play for COACH O

You're a fool if you don't want to get on this golden airboat, baw.

Especially when you heard JB talk about coach O

Yeah, I'm shelving the recruiting drama. it'll work itself out and LSU will get elite 'croots.
And if you don't want to suit up for COACH O after that tribute, then I'm not sure I wanted you anyway.

This! Is exactly how I feel. Every player is a son to Coach O, but they’re just chess pieces to Sabin.

It’s not that they don’t want to. It’s that they have multiple great choices. We constantly hear posters saying that an athlete made a terrible choice because their team didn’t do much while he was there, but that’s not the be-all-and-end-all. Maybe a guy like Fournette, for example, had a rich experience, and made lifetime friends at LSU. Maybe he wouldn’t trade that for two Heismans and a natty.

He backed up what he said he’d do.
So many empty promises made. Refreshing to see it done the right way.

Yea you right . Some people want the Ferrari (LSU) and some want the Volkswagen (other schools) . Not everyone has the same taste...

Good lord. Get over it. All those kids chose the better situations for them at the time. Two went to play for arguably the greatest coach of all-time and the other two chose to play for the coach 3/4ths of Tiger Nation wanted to hire.

You are quite the little devil's advocate, Mr. BayouCat. Stirring the shite pot in every thread.

Don't feel sorry for them. They all have had the same opportunity to watch our development this year, watch that ceremony last night, and spend real time with this coach. If there are kids with all of that available to them and choose elsewhere then maybe they just aren't cut out for this culture.

Kids have always loved him as a person and a coach

Bottom line is we are just seeing, this year, the first results of CEO recruiting. The missing piece has been QB for years now. This is the first time since probably 2001 or 2002 that it is obviously improved at every position. That is coaching.

Maybe their reasons have nothing to do with not liking Orgeron
People here take it personal when a kid chooses another school, but there are so many factors and influences it's just impossible to know what really went into most of these decisions.
