Does O get to fill in the massive hole at OL for this recruiting cycle. I mean Shanahan has been such a rousing success, and O loves transfers.

Is this like when you said joe burrow wouldn’t be good because Tom Herman didn’t get to coach him?

6'4" 315 lb worries you? How big do you want him to be?

Eric Wilson is in the 315 lb. range and stands 6‘4“ tall.

The dude ain’t that undersized. He’s physically bigger and athletically better than Liam.

People got to try to stop freaking out about the offensive line recruiting. We are going to end up with four (4) lineman in the 2021 class. Two HS recruits (Dellinger & Kimo are my guess) and two (2) transfers (my guess - Wilson & J. Moko) that will have a combined total of five (5) years of eligibility. Furthermore, these four (4) offer some versatility in that two (2) are tackles, one (1) experienced guard, and one (1) capable of playing center &/or guard.

Then, we will just need to capitalize on offensive lineman with the 2022 class, as it is one of the best in-state (LA) classes in quite some time.

Will Campbell is top 50 tackle from Neville high school in Monroe

Emery Jones is top 300 guard from Baton Rouge

Already have a four-star offensive guard committed from Alabama and Lucas Taylor

Several other tackles already shown significant interest in LSU

Walking into an SEC strength and conditioning program from Harvard's at 6'4 and 315 lbs is great. Shanahan is 6'5 and 300+ - people forget that this is his first year at center in years, coming into a short offseason from Harvard. I really hope Shanahan sticks around - a full year in the program could make him alot of money. Wilson signed with Auburn but I would have had no problem with him coming to Baton Rouge.

Are you implying that our center is undersized? He doesn’t look small to me.

He was 6’-4” 280 lb Coming out of high school.

He’s now 315

quote:

From there, the 6-4, 315-pound lineman -- a second-team All-Ivy League selection in 2019 -- will find a place to continue his athletic career. SMU is in the hunt, as are Minnesota, Memphis, Vanderbilt, Boston College, LSU and Florida State for now.

If you want to boost your o line for 2021 these are the guys you’re gonna need. True freshman don’t come into the sec and play very often. Tristan Leigh has the talent too but not many others LSU can get will.

There are 21 Ivy League players on NFL rosters, including 5 offensive linemen. Harvard has the most with 7 players, including 2 offensive linemen. There is NFL and major college talent at all levels of football.
