He is not going to be coming to LSU.

I can't say for 100% neither of those happened, but I can say he is a good kid.
If he did either of those his dad would put a foot up his arse.

I don't have a clue where this kid goes but what in the hell about this situation makes it LESS likely that he comes to LSU? I don't get that line of thinking!

But his brother tries to kill people pretty much on a nightly basis. He just started the other night and the only reason he hasn't tried to again is because the HEAT was on. End sarcastic response

How can you not get it?
1. Even if JJ's family thinks he's 100% at fault(highly unlikely) they just may not want their other son in the same environment simply because they don't want JJ's incident always hanging over his head.
2. Many people on the rant feel he's being railroaded or there's some overreaction here by police. Nobody on the rant is more biased for him than his family so it's likely someone in his family feels the same way. If they feel JJ is being mistreated would it surprise you at all if they didn't want Rickey around BRPD for 3-4 years. I guarantee you rival recruiters will be pointing this out.

Hes not a good passer, but when you have 209 attempts your stats arent going to be that good.
All in all he did ok, thats just me adding in rushing yds and tds.
I am not bashing the guy, just pointing out that JJ has been given the benefit of the doubt by this fan base, by and large. I can't think of another school in the nation that would have the support for an incumbent that put up the numbers JJ did last year.
The fan base is fine, the only reason it gets a bad rap is because the Admins here give people a LOT more leeway than many other fan boards of other schools do.

This decision is so far away.
Miles most likely has a wonderful relationship with the Jefferson family.
These 2 things should really help in the recruitment, and he's still a Louisiana boy.

If he does come to lsu, I hope his attitude is better than older bro. Regardless, I don't think it matters either way with JJs bro. He likes lsu and shouldn't change that view based on his bros terrible decision making. If he does, then that says something about him.

I'm a lsu grad and no way would my son go to lsu unless jj is allowed back on the team. it is true that miles has supported jj very strongly but it is also true that jj has taken more shite from the fanbase than any player in recent history.
chances he comes here are less than 25%

The Jefferson family knows exactly how much Miles has done for JJ.
And they also know exactly how shitty JJ was treated by fans.
We all know JJs bro would be booed because of JJ... and that was even before this shady mess.

I want JJ's brother to come here. None of this situation with JJ is Les Miles or LSU's fault. It's a bad situation for everybody. The LSU program is bigger than any one player. One thing LSU has never had problems recruiting are receivers and playmakers. If his brother doesn't come here then I wish him the best. Maybe he would be happy at LSU or maybe it would be too uncomfortable for him? Only he can answer that question. I don't see how anybody on this planet could ever say Les hasn't stuck by JJ and been his biggest supporter.

JJ has not been kicked off the team. He has been suspended from the team. There is a difference there.
That being said he is being investigated for 2nd degree battery and has been arrested for a felony. As a football he is a representative of LSU. Until this is cleared up he should not be on the field.

champ, get real jj has caught more flak from the fan base than any player in the miles era. I lot of it was unnecessary. the team was 11-2 last year. we lost at arky due to terrible defense. we lost at auburn due to cam.
jj played poorly at times but he didn't cost us a sec or nat'l title.

Regardless of what type of relationship Miles has with the Jefferson family, I would doubt that JJ's younger brother will sign with LSU, in the light of what happened. Hate to see him end up at 'Bama, so I would hope that maybe he considers the likes of Texas A&M or Texas Tech & would just want to not even play SEC football. But again, this decision is long time in coming.
