This is the most accurate description. Craig is an elite recruiter. Don't forget, he was the guy who convinced Jamies Winston to go to FSU
I mean he convinced a kid from Alabama from going to national champion Alabama or prestigious Stanford or prestigious and traditional football blue blood Notre Dame to come to FSU.

I'm curious as well. -Only 3 guys ahead of him on that list have a higher average, and only two guys on the list have more commits. - only two guys have both as many or more commits and a higher average. They are #1 and #2 on the list
Ed O is top 5 IMO. I don't know what the hell they do to get the rankings, but I know Ed O can bring it.

He was rated 4th best in country by 247. Pulled in best wr class in the country for Auburn this year.

Orgeron and Craig would be the top recruiter on just about every staff in the nation. The fact we have both of them on this staff is great news. Craig is on par with Wilson, they just happen to dominate different metro areas.
Throw in Raymond and BDP and the fact they neither of them is a top 2 recruiter on this staff is crazy. Many a Universities would love to have these guys selling their product.

Craig said it well in an interview...his job is easy because selling LSU is not difficult at all.

I think collectively, LSU is better on the recruiting front than they have ever been. Juluke may not be as good as Wilson, but I think he will soon be at that level. And from everything I've heard of Craig, he's a huge upgrade from Ball in recruiting.

The task of selling LSU is easier to do in New Orleans, or Baton Rouge, than it is Mobile or Houston.
Selling LSU to Monroe kids hasn't always been easy either. Not till the last couple of years.

Craig is the primary for Moses.

Obviously but the original questions is "How good of a recruiter is he?"
He's a VERY good recruiter...I don't expect him to pull as many Mobile kids as Frank did Nola kids. That'd be ignorant; however, I DO believe he will get us in the mix for some and probably pull a few solid players out of there per year.

I was quietly panicking about losing Frank...then we got Juluke and Craig and I am completely comfortable losing Frank now.
Never, ever thought I'd say that.

DC is better than coach o at recruiting. DC is also one of the dirtier recruiters out there but my guess was he was brought in to shut down saban.

I think it's impossible to put a for sure 1-10 kind of group, but I think it can be done like elite, very good, average etc. Coach O, Raymond, and Craig are all easily elite and I believe in Julukes area he will be elite. Grimes, BDP, and Miles are all in the very good category. Aranda and Ensminger, in their roles, are very good as well. CCC is the only weak link, besides Harris his QB recruiting has been very bad but he has managed to bring in high quality WRs. One big deal here is C. Craig is going to give LSU a BIG presence in Mobile and the surrounding areas again. Saban has shut us out of Alabama, Craig's going to give Saban and Malzahn both big headaches recruiting wise, that's a fact. If we get even 2 guys/year from Bama that's a big win for us, I can't wait to see this staff go out and perform

DC gives us the best recruiting staff in the country hand down and it's not even close. If we win the sec this season and we see good Qb play in the process watch out for a multi title run. Maybe not like gumps 4 out of 7 but we could easily make a run at 2 n a 4 year period or something like that. Bookmark it. It's gonna happen.

How good of a recruiter is Dameyune Craig???
you know how everyone was super duper excited when Coach O agreed to come to LSU, and how they talked up his recruiting prowess?
well, that hype is the type of hype that Craid SHOULD be getting.... i still don't see how we got him out of Alabama....
basically, trading Steele for Craig, strictly from a recruiting standpoint, is so unfair the UN should be called in to investigate a crime against humanity....
we now have Orgeron, Juluke, Peveto (shitty coach, but hell of a recruiter), Raymond, and Craig, to go along with one of the better "closers" in the game in Miles.... if Cam could get his shite together, there really wouldn't a weak spot in the armor on the recruiting front....

How old are you? Just curious

Old enough to bang yo mama

I guess another way to look at it...
Miles bringing in someone like Craig after Wilson leaves underscores just how good Wilson was at recruiting

I like him. He knows Bama, Georgia, and Florida really well. This was a big get for us
