I wouldn't be surprised that the LSU fans that over criticize Les Miles hurt his in state recruiting of high profile players.

There are many in this state who shite on Miles and kiss the ground Saban walks on. I am sure Saban takes full advantage of it when recruiting top talent in the state.

The Iron Bowl is a key example of how stupid the critics of Les Miles really are these days.

The Monroe community is very pro LSU but these are three friends and frankly LSU was out worked. Bama is a force and spending half what they do and having less contact with them than bama is just stupid on our part. Frankly we have been out worked on the recruiting trail for the last several years. Don't blame Monroe. Put the blame where it lays...

What is wrong with cheering your friend on, I don't understand this mindset. I really could care less.

It is just respectful.

and it's embarrassing

i'm not advocating it, but it's not unheard of.

and let's be honest, if you were at a HS kid's announcement and he announced Bama, would you do anything that could be then described as "cheering"?

Still blows my mind kids like this go to Bama. It shouldnt. There are forces at work which are greater than fandom or childhood dreams. Recognize.

I really don't get it either.

Hope he enjoys playing ball at a place where they make death threats against their players.

Memphis was also wrong about the "two booms" last signing day if memory serves. I appreciate his efforts, but it appears his "sources" are either full of shite, or he is full of shite. It also appears that the Bama sources on these recruits are better than the LSU sources.

we are upset about the possibility of losing landry and beckham, but people say they don't care about gaining quille? he was better than both in high school......he comes from almost the same area as Landry.....ESJ is much worse, but still.

quille is the real deal. one and done is all we need to sustain a high powered passing game and he can be one of the best NFL prospects after that 1 season.

You cannot blame losing a recruit on an assistant coach when the community celebrates a player leaving. Monroe is an issue for LSU.

Then what about this?
