Savion Jones 247
Big Boom, coach O building the trenches. That 4-3 gonna be nasty
247 Player Analysis:
Great size and frame with ample space to continue bulk addition. Tall, imposing defensive lineman. Provided huge production, especially relative to position, for Louisiana 3A state championship team as a junior. Impressive overall athletic profile with three-sport participation in football, basketball, and track and field (high jump, discus). Motor runs high. Flashes impressive pursuit ability and closes fast on the ball. Strong at the point of attack vs. the run and as a bull rusher. Will need to expand and develop pass-rushing arsenal. Can improve balance and body control. Possesses terrific multi-sport profile, but athleticism lacks testing or track time context. Power Five-caliber defensive lineman with likely position and scheme versatility who could develop into an NFL Draft prospect.

Who is it?!? I don’t see anything on sage Ryan’s social media

Maybe he told coach before posting about it. Guess we will find out soon

This is true, but I think O usually lets them announce on their own before doing the tweet—even if they’ve informed the staff

Paid sites doesn’t even know.

Very odd here. Normally O posts this in response to the player committing on social media. This is a first to have the Hold That Tiger before a public commitment.

Surprisingly, the commit is usually way on the boards before O tweets, so this one is out of left field on that late night

Don't see too many DE prospects doing high jump. Gotta be excited about the potential.
