Don't understand this commit. I have faith in Aranda and Raymond but with the talent we are still in the running for "Bush, Porter, Kimbrough etc....." why take a 2 year guy at a position we always recruit well in unless he is literally a starter from day one. Which that could be the case, just scratching my head a little on this one.

we lose Greedy, Battle, Paris, the new Stanford grad transfer. We need all the help we can get at corner after this year too

Because we’re not gonna wait around to be Surtained again. If you want in this class you better commit now. Signing day is in December not February. No games. We are LSU.

Because everyone knows elite programs are built with transfers and Juco guys.

We won't have too many guys with any college starting experience. This guy will bring that. I can understand it but I think he should try to veer from this recruiting tactic some. I think he will once he has the on the field success which will help in recruiting OOS. GT

He looks slow with good play recognition skills. I’ve never question Raymond or Aranda but man the state is loaded with damn good prospects. He looks to be a better fit for the safety position.

He can play all the positions, and being a JUCO guy, he gives you instant depth across the board next year.

He'll have 3 years to play 2.

Like I said earlier, room will be made where it is needed. Expect Edwards to "flip" to MooU before too long. There's also going to be quite a bit of culling of the herd as far as the current roster goes to make room for us to get to the 25 man limit, too.

Not slow, just has a long stride being 6'2" and think he is more of a safety than CB.
