it is if like some of the posters in this thread you look at the law as black and white and toss out intent. i don't, personally.
legal system needs a major overhaul. this isn't relevant but it is interesting.. i had to go to court recently because a dude ran a redlight and hit me. couldn't drive the car. he even told the officer it was his fault. the story he told the insurance company was entirely different than the one he told the cop.. yet the statement he made to the cop wasn't permissable in court???
I won eventually, but i was without a car for 8 fricking months. To much power is given to those who lie, and that's my real problem here.

Isn't the girl in this matter white? Anyone else think that when daddy found out she blew two black dudes the shite hit the fan.

there is little wiggle room with murder...if you cause the death of another, youre serving some kind of jail sentence...if not, something bizarre took place

in this instance if you were the last rider on the train and you got caught then you a f__ked yourself.........I know where you coming from and you and I both Know "life ain't fair"......after all of this I can say as a father I am truly sorry for this kid(and I mean it)

Now bmy, i can see where this is consensual and the parents want to press charges and he has no other character issues. Then it would be up to LSU and Coach Miles what they want to do regarding his status with the football team. Not ours.
But he will still face some sort of punishment from the state because what he did was illegal.
I dont have children so i dont know what i would do in this situation, but i know i wouldnt want my 14 yr old making their own decisions. Like voting, use of tobacco, drinking, military, drop out of school to work full time, get a credit card, owning a gun, and other things 18+ people should be allowed to do. shite i wouldnt even want my 14 year old driving a car, let alone blowing people on school campus.
