I get what ur saying, but disagree bc most like me never thought he’d come. Hell I never heard of him until a week ago. I’m sure he just needs hats on the table

Extreme lie. Kelly didn’t make contact or make him a priority when he took over, so the ship has sailed

If A&M signs Harris how will they even have room to sign anybody else like Jacoby Mathews or Harold Perkins?

Why would it be a kick to the gut? LSU is having a major staff overhaul while A&M has maintained their staff. Nothing shocking about it because his commitment to A&M is fully expected.

That's not true. The staff still hasn't been assembled and Frank Wilson was hired a week after Kelly was announced, assuming Frank would be his primary recruiter. Harris just hasn't had time to know the LSU staff and he doesn't seem interested in giving them time. LSU can't pull out a miracle in only 2.5 weeks of recruitment. The recruitment takes place over a couple of years and no one should expect a top flight player to commit so easily after such little time.

It’s O’s fault for not having him a six figure job lined up

He wasn't much of recruiter and was not recruiting Harris.

Thats what I was thinking I know you can back fill but I don’t see how they can sign anymore players. If somehow we could manage to get Perkins and Jacoby that would be huge but we will be lucky to get one of them in this new era of college football

Looks like we may not even sign 20 total which probably will be mostly 3 star players that have not been offered by LSU but will now get a shot. More Ibieta types.
Maybe we get lucky with Matthews and Perkins but let's not count on it. AL, AtM could sign 30 and still take them from us.
Portal has a handful that might be able to help next year with maybe a few starters. Otherwise, LSU goes into next year again with a depleted roster and less than 85 total.

Teams can sign at least 32 this year, provided they have 7 players leave after the fall semester.

This doesn't include back counting spots from last year or any other exceptions they may have (voluntary, mid year withdrawal, etc).

With a hard limit of 85 scholarship players. That means that teams with 30+ Signees can’t keep all the 4 and 5 stars from the past three years otherwise there will be 100 plus on their scholarship roster. They’ve been averaging 25 per year. Let this play out. More to come.

I wouldn't worry so much about Harris.

Jacoby is an absolute must get LA boy 5 star safety. Top priority.

Harold Perkins is the next priority. Beastly 5 star LB is an absolute position of need.

Harris would be a fantastic boom get - but the other two are much more important.

All three would put us back in the top ten of recruiting rankings.

Right. There will certainly be a lot of guys transferring from these schools. I was only addressing the question of how many they CAN sign.

Expect lots of current players to get processed over the next few months.

The acceptance of mediocre signing classes and our state getting raided is actually alarming.

I love how you try to morph your ridiculous continuing melt to look somewhat reasonable. It doesn’t. Keep on making bold declarations based on 3 weeks of a house cleaning because you desperately want to be right about Kelly being a bad hire.

What’s even more pathetic is that you are very obviously still longing for a G5 guy who’s learning how to be a P5 head coach on the fly.
