There's a TON of value in getting talent that isn't self centered vs. talent that is.

The problem is that it's hard to do and not abundant.

Obviously, this kid has a lot of growing up to do.

He even said it.

"They not coming after me as hard as they should."

This guy will be an immediate problem in whichever locker room he ends up in.

“Coach Napier even drew up some wildcat for me”

I 1000% guarantee he’ll never see an offensive snap in his college career. This kid

He’s a kid.

It’s reasonably likely that he steps in campus and gets in line because he’s not the top dog anymore.

But he will humble himself or be embarrassed.

Popular recruiting trick. "We've drawn up some special plays just for you."

Yeah, screw that elite talent that is game changer from day 1.

Kids like him will jump from team to team based on what he can get. Good luck holding on after one season.

Napier seems like the type of guy who is desperate and would try to be Harold's friend instead of coach. He wouldn't be doing him any favors. Harold needs help with his interviewing and the energy he gives off.

So hes a problem because LSU is barely recruiting him? The same thing multiple of other recruits have said? The same thing that was said about Kelly at Notre Dame?

This kid is going to learn the hard way. Hopefully he gets the structure he needs.

He needs a coach that is not going to try to be his friend or kiss his azz. I like Harold and hope he ends up here, but I would like to see someone around him help humble him because this could all be taken away in a flash.

That’s capitalism. Supply and demand. Letting the free market decide the value of something. To want anything less would be communism.

If that's your take on his recruitment, I'm not wasting any time on you.

Perkins isn't looking for a sweet NIL deal. He's looking for a bag of cash.

100% agree the kid has a bad attitude. But sorry, not sorry, if he came out and said he was absolutely loving LSU over any other school right now, this board would have loved it.

If your arse was in the same situation and you had the opportunity to get paid 6 figures for something or do it for free. Are you telling me you would do it for free?

One more thing: the same Brian Kelly who was willing to be filmed dancing on Walker Howard isn't impressing Perkins?

Either Perkins has VERY high expectations or Kelly knows the kid is an entitled prick and a massive waste of time.
