These are verbal soft commits. Players get caught up in the process and think it is wise to commit. Then things change. Coaching staff gets on the hot seat. Espn lambasted the university. The kid gets a bad vibe.

Great, now for the next foreseeable future we're going to have all the resident high school QB experts on the board say LSU needs to take some LA high school QB that'll probably end up at Southeastern.

It's crazy that some are shocked! It's been rumored for weeks. Also, if you were a a top QB or top dual threat QB, would you really consider LSU? Given the prestigious history of developing QBs the last 10 years? Think about what everyone outside of LSU fans think of QB that go to LSU

I give him credit for handling this with class and not dragging it out. Anyone not wearing purple and gold glasses will admit he's making the right decision. Right now, the LSU program looks like a dumpster fire. That will change but I don't blame any of these kids for not wanting to wait it out.
