Exactly! And I remember months ago Frank's saying Lsu was it and he wasn't looking anywhere else. I think it was a big game in Oregon or something

He will be a fine player but I want a legit pocket passer. It's time to move on from the mobile QB, IMO.

It really doesn't surprise me. I've been really excited about Franks and the future at QB. Seems as the nightmare won't end with quality QBs, during the recruiting process, leaving us high and dry.

Serious question. If we get Jimbo and a better OC does Franks look at LSU again? He decommitted but hasn't committed anywhere else, right? Also, until NSD anything can happen.

He has not committed anywhere, but he does have a good head on his shoulders and while anything can happen it looks very bleak.

To be honest, and I may be in the minority you can never fault a guy for looking around after seeing what is about to happen.

I also want to say I know what I said "about", but it has been a real shame to see from top to bottom what have fans have done to this program. While we have made great strides, it feels like we take a major step back this year and people have forgotten those seniors and guys leaving after this year will have their last game in TS on saturday.

If we can't get him back, hope to pull Dwayne Haskins because that would be about it for talented options we have a legit shot at. Well there is Malik Henry who is committed to FSU, but I don't know if he would even visit LSU.

Franks is an EE. It is unlikely that new coaches would be able to develop a relationship with Franks in time.

If LSU does hire Jimbo, Henry would have to be a LSU lock.

LOL...backup plan??? backup plan??? Why would we have a quarterback recruit backup plan?? We don't seem to have one for games (that are effective)...Good luck, Franks..we wish you well but be ready when you line up against the Tigers. Gator meat is good... Geaux Tigers...beat the Aggies!!!

gotta say this is pretty disappointing not getting franks or patterson when both were early LSU leans.

LSU qb recruiting is a shite show. we had Patterson but gave him up for franks. we got franks and it ran off narcisse. we lost franks. the people in charge are having a real problem here.

Not surprising with the coaching situation in flux and UF having the opportunity to start immediately.

Fck him for the timing. And for having us not take other QBs because he was so solid.

Franks tore up Twitter when we were talking to Patterson writing all this garbage about "honoring commitments"
Maybe Mr. Franks needs to read his own words and act like he expects others to. We kept our commitments to him...and look what it got us.

Look, he's a guy who runs away from issues, instead of honoring and being a leader and being a solution, he runs away from committments......typical of any kid who was portrayed as he was, mostly because of his father's character.

frick it, this is on Les and this is exactly why Les needs to exit. He wouldn't take his grip off of the offense, it's shows, and recruits are running!

There is no difference between the JJ offense days and last week. It was the exact same.

So we've shown, NOTHING will change, no matter the OC, under Miles.

Coaching changes was not the deciding factor unless he had a crystal ball. He started flirting with Florida a month ago. It is the offense that ran him off.
