A&M already has a commitment from a QB this class, and he's been committed for well over a year

They also have a 2019 QB commit too

Big drop off going from Tallahassee/Baton Rouge to College Station.

Yes, I agree completely. I see this move by Jimbo as nothing more than a monetary decision. Maybe a boost to his ego, but in the realm of football, I do not see it. I don't see him as a big threat to LSU when it comes to Louisiana recruits, I believe he was a bigger threat when he was at Fla. St. Why leave a school where you've already won a NC and just signed a top 5 recruiting class to go to a school that must compete every week in arguably the toughest conference division in all of college football. It def won't be easier to win at A and M than it was at Fla. St. He'd of been better off taking the LSU job last year. Maybe there's more job security at A and M than at LSU or Fla. St. Maybe he believes they will be more lenient when it comes to Wins versus Losses. IDK I'm just speculating, trying to wrap my brain around this move.

I hope so, I really like this kid. I just think he's going to be special. I would like Rogers as well as I think he's going to be a good one too. LSU wouldn't be in a bad spot with any of these QBs. The kid from TX would be a good get too.

Hell sign two of them if possible. Get them here, let them get some reps with your team and see who takes to the offense and the players on the team. Let the other transfer.

O is putting a real priority on this position and I think he's taking Mullen's advice about what he looks for in a QB, and thats mental/physical toughness. Our roster will be much different in 4 years and good different. LSU should recruit at least 1 QB every year IMO. I'm excited about our future at the QB position. GT

Foster will likely commit to Lsu ? I’ve been hearing this. This kid is a gem. We need him at Lsu. Fundamentally sound, smart, athletic.. do
Not let Rogers overshadow this kid. If will be a big mistake.

Foster still looking good for LSU? Looks like he will be a take for Bama they don’t flip Emory Jones from OSU.

I believe they are talking about football program “drop off”

then why name the city and not the school?
even if its referring to the programs, its still fairly inaccurate. FSU has been a slightly better program than LSU, and LSU slightly better than Aggy (granted Aggy can't seem to beat LSU). Aggy facilities are better than both FSU or LSU.

If Jimbo NEVER wins a single game at Aggie, he still collects $75milion. That’s SEVENTY FIVE MILLION DOLLARS. Don’t overdo trying to wrap your head around why he left FSU.

agreed 100%. I lived over 20 years in BR and my kids were born there. I go back and visit at least once a year. BR is not a shithole; it's light years better than living in college station. stay out of the ghetto and it's cool.

Not to hijack this thread, but I think Jimbo got the F out of Fla state because they (fans and bosses) were getting to him. People can get really demanding and overbearing once you win a championship, and he has been struggling since winning that championship. So, he said frick this I'm out, I think he wanted back at LSU before settling on TAMU, but LSU didn't wanna pay him what he wanted and TAMU was a very willing payer, I mean player. Jimbo knows just like Saban the talent gold mine that LA is and how LSU dominates that talent pool there, he knows he could put together a championship team immediately there, if only they would have cooperated with him (finances). lol But the SEC west just got a whole lot tougher with him there, but I hope Saban gets tired of Bama tards soon like Jimbo did with FSU. I would love to see them (Gumps) go back into the black void again. Lol

He has $75 million reasons to go to A&M. It's a no-brainer. He can have 3 seasons of 8-5 records, then get a big buyout/retirement.

Baton Rouge doesn’t have a ghetto. Obviously you’ve never ventured out and into some of the truly big cities in this country. The areas you’re talking about I frequent often. No problems, and you’d have no problems if you weren’t such a chickenshite.??
