Just to simplify things, Jimbo needed a fresh start and TaM provided not only the venue but loads of cash.

Hard to leave when you return a preseason top 3 squad loaded with NFL talent poised for a run
Easily to leave when you are 5-6 with pitchforks at your door and someone is actually willing pay you more money to skip town
Miles is gone in 07 if not playing for the SEC title, much less playing for bowl eligibility. Of course Michigan wouldn’t have come calling if that were the case. Aggies going to Aggie I guess.
Some serious red flags with Jimbo this season imo, and I don’t care to hear the QB excuses. Miles won 9, 11, and 13 games with Lee/Jefferson in the SEC.
