Former LSU QB Marcus Randall has been terminated as head coach at Southern University Lab School after an investigation uncovered several violations under his watch.

Southern Lab was found to have illegal recruiting, and student-athletes received special benefits. To make matters worse, more investigations are still to come.

Southern Lab will have to vacate its state championships during the 2015 and 2016 football seasons. The Kittens will be banned from postseason play for two years and sanctions for all athletic programs will be put in place until 2019.

Just saw him Sunday at our youth coaches meeting. He coaches the Zachary youth team too.

Looks like they called his bluff.

Devery rose has its thorns.

Guess he is now job Hunting.

Will take a Miracle for him to get another head coaching job.

Oh damn they came down hard on this...

Hate to see High School kid punished for something an adult did. I guess this goes for college too, but High School seems a little different. You dont get to choose where to play most of the time.

Southern lab has been cheating for years in football and basketball. This isn't their first time to be stripped of a title.

Will Randall surface somewhere as an offensive coordinator?

And please inform me what they did differently than what catholic high Uhigh or parkview does ? Or did you just think that those kids could afford that tuition! It's a case or the rules only apply for certain schools!

Southern Lab can't get away with cheating as John Curtis, evangel, and others do. He should have known that.

This isn't an LSU recruiting topic.

How can you say another school does these same things when "these same things" aren't even identified? Sour grapes.

Wasn't the rant convinced not that long ago that he was anti LSU because he played for Saban?

It's at least an item of interest since there are a handful of '18 and '19 LSU commits/targets.

Those schools don't play ineligible players. Those schools make their athletes actually go to class. This is not only about recruiting.

It directly affects potential recruits, and the rant has always screamed that Randall was sending his recruits to Saban.
