You wont find me disagreeing with this statement. Any reasonable fan of ours feels this way.

That's because you're ignorant and don't know what you're talking about. You're not coming for LSU's throat because you can't right now. Only way Texas will consistently recruit Louisiana over LSU is by you winning and LSU losing. Money wise LSU competes with everyone which is where the biggest misconception lies.
Do you think Texas or LSU boosters like losing money? I don't care how much Texas has they can't and will not just buy everyone off at the highest amount. They will kill the market for themselves making it not sustainable. They identify who they can't miss just like LSU and dump the money bags. Nothing has changed everything is the same except the spending is out in the open now instead of underhanded dealings.
Rich people like money they don't like seeing it disappear so more is never enough. There's often self-interests gained by donating to a university. They get an investment like this. For example, at LSU maybe they get an energy contract where the booster has money into which leads to gains for their investments.
If what you said is true Texas would've just bought everyone off the past 20 years so they could buy themselves a championship. It doesn't matter what conference you're in. Did they? No, they didn't because it's not as simple as you put it. LSU is one of the more profitable athletics in the country and have arguably one of the best athletics in the entire country spread across all sports. If you think Texas is just going to come in and buy who they want out of here just because you're in the SEC you have a rude awakening coming. You'll snag one here and there but it's nowhere near as bad as you're making it out to be. LSU can't keep everyone. You better be more worried about Texas territory.

A better way to put this is even if LSU finishes 7-10 it's more like top 3. why? Because LSU usually finishes a class with the majority of Louisiana recruits who are woefully under scouted by recruiting sites yet are recruited hard by major universities. There's a lot of amazing talent here completely unknown to recruiting sites and they even do a shitty job at scouting the high end recruits in the state.
4 NC appearances, 3 NCs in 20 years. Only Bama and Clemson have claim to compete with this right now. Georgia's recent success will have them up there. It stands to reason it's very likely LSU recruiting classes are often woefully underrated when you look at the NFL factory it is and their successes. Also, if Saban wasn't at Bama at Miles peak LSU very likely is a dynasty in their place which is kinda scary to think about with a retard like Miles. Think at how close LSU was to making another NC run under Miles in some years but Bama ruined it.

Listen if Sark stays out of the liquor store he will build a monster over there. He has Elite recruiters around him and all the money a player could want.
Will he? He’s been a good head coach, but he wasn’t exactly dominant in a mediocre PAC 12 and he was mediocre at best as a head coach last year. He’s an amazing OC, but he still hasn’t proven he’s up to making Texas a sustained power, even with the money and recruiting behind him.

It’s desperation from Texas because they can’t hold on to their own backyard, they just had to pay way way way over the moon to keep a kid 90 mins away from going to LSU.

Nice, I'll be using this when we don't get a kid from Louisiana we want. Yes, Duncanville is only 90 minutes away...by helicopter.

Frank Wilson and Brad Davis are carrying their weight, not sure about the rest of the staff

You’d better hope Texas doesn’t get that arse waxed by Bama in week 2, bc Simmons Will see what his future in the SEC will be at Texas if they do.

Cool might be a top 5 class
Georgia is going to sign 10+ top 100 kids this year
Bama signed 7 5 stars last year
A&M signed 18 top 100 players in 22
Texas’ class isn’t coming anywhere close to this

Damn you are dumb
Adams - #7 safety
Robinson - #10 cb
Claiborne- not top 2
So we became dub with like 5 top 2 DBs in an almost 20 year period
McBryde is one of the highest rated safeties we will have ever signed - but he’s not elite according to you

Adam’s ended
Up 1 or 2 it just depends what site you are looking at
Dc tiger just because my opinion differed from you doesn’t mean I sit there and call you names and think I’m some big bad key board warrior that the next step
Is to go wet you at sonic, sheesh. It’s just my opinion. Why cast stones now when we have four years of watching them play I’m allowed to make my predictions and so are you

Right?
I’m just like you -> I really HATE TOP 10 (6th On3 / 7th 247) recruiting classes.
Just imagine if BK & his staff could actually recruit. LSU might be able to field competitive teams occasionally?
Posted on 8/12/23 at 6:51 am to RightWingTiger
BK can win with 4 stars. It's hard to compete with the Texas bags and networks.

Did you bother to get your GED after you dropped out of high school? GD you type like a fricking idiot.
You don’t even have an opinion. First you shite on the coaching staff and say Texas has raided LA. Did we not just sign the Perkins last year? We take to TX talent all the time.
Then you say we miss out on elite can’t miss prospects like Simmons. People point out that we’ve signed elite talent, and you proceed to shite on every kid we’ve signed and say they are overrated and not elite. But the ones that got away clearly are?
You’re a fricking retard. Just stop posting.

It’s more than enough. Minimal difference between any team in top 10 and that’s just a fact. Those “star ratings” are not a real science. It’s very much opinion based (and more often than not players get bumped up or down depending on the school.
__________
Partially true, but you need a few top 3 classes mixed amongst the top 10 classes. We will struggle to beat Georgia and the like if we don't. Also, which top players we get matter. An elite QB can make a difference. An elite pass rusher it two as well, if you also have good players elsewhere.

Disagree. "Brand" is a key reason we are not Missouri. Missouri is talent rich as a state, but can never match our reach to attain top talent across the country. Louisiana is our base, but we have long been a national brand.
