I can't tell you what any of these kids thinking. I believe some of these summer commits will flip in fall alot of time left to signing day.
We will see on 19th when crystal balls go out

How do we let a kid out of New Iberia go to Miami. Damn.
CFB recruiting is no longer about kids signing with the school they dreamed about playing for. They are chasing the biggest check and being bought. It's now a "Show Me The Money" world with ZERO loyalty to coaches. This is the main reason why Saban retired. 18–20-year-olds now control the multi-billion-dollar business of CFB

I've said it before. I don't think anything matters anymore. Coaches, facilities, program history, stadium experience none of it. You could have a middle school locker room and a BREC field for your stadium and if you are paying enough you could get a Top 5 class. All the stuff we hang our hat on as a program or as fans could me shite all to any of these kids.

Raymond picking up right where he left off 3 years ago

Yeah he better turn current CBs on roster from water to wine. Lol

quote:More competent, sure, however, i want to see Oregon without a ready made QB. And yes Nix was ready made when he got there. The onky difference from Auburn and Oregon was playing with better talent in a better system vs worse competition. Their OL has been ridiculous since he got there (product from Cristobal, look at what he's doing on OL at Miami), and Auburn's OL was swiss.
Oregon is pulling an A&M this cycle but with a much more competent coaching staff.
I also want to see Lanning in the biggest games. Man has choked the last two seasons.

They've got Dillon Gabriel this year who may well end up as the NCAA all time passing TD leader with a big year. He'll probably be fine for them. Behind him they've got a former 5 star in Dante Moore.

Again, you can't really blame a Louisiana kid for wanting to get out of Louisiana.

When they beat Utah twice in a season I’ll think they’re ready for elite status. I’m on hold until then.

He’s free to go wherever he wants, but let’s not act like the environment at LSU is that of a third world country. Our players live in swanky apartments, train in world class facilities, eat incredible food, and are adored by their state for the rest of their lives. I could think of worse things.

Today is here. Let's hope Corey and the collective can bring him home to BR.

Blame Corey all you want but this is a pure NIL recruitment now. yes, relationships mattered in the beginning, but he has on offer on the table from Miami, nearly 1 mill over 1st 2 years. Personally, I don't think he's an immediate impact guy that's worth that much up front but wtf do i know.

You guys need to make up your mind .
Many here claim Raymond is a long-time charismatic recruiter, who we paid a bunch to get back on a 2 yr. contract.
Others say that the game has changed to "pure NIL" money race.
If the game has changed and all we need are good bankers with big bags, we made a mistake hiring an old-time recruiter who cannot compete with the bankers..
