The concept of money doesn't fall flat. We've just all been around enough to know that just going somewhere for $ isn't the best choice. If he chooses LSU he'll make good $ and more than likely play very early. If Oregon is where he really wants to be and he can make bank good for him.
He's from Florida so going all the way to Oregon to play ball seems pretty wild. Now.............his brother did play for ND.

I doubt the position coaches are calculating out what the collective has to spend on each player. They are probably the go between but they can't make money appear from thin air.

Not every player wants to compete in the SEC. You can pretty much guarantee him everything else. Money, brand, early playing time, at a championship program with top facilities are all in Baton Rouge.
He either wants to compete for a championship program in the SEC or he doesn't, and would rather compete against lesser talent week in and week out.

I agree that a player doesn't really care about the weather enough to sway his decision one way or another, especially when theres millionsof dollars involved, but Louisiana May-August isn't really that different from what he is used to in Florida.
