Becoming a Louisianimal ain't for every Texan. It's a MUCH tougher path. You are surrounded by football savages, and you have to earn it. You have to have that Harold Perkins/Jamaal Adams dawg in ya. When a Texan picks LSU I can pretty much assume he's accepting a challenge, the more difficult path. I never assume it or hold it against the guys who prefer a softer landing spot with less competition. To each his own.

Fans need to realize, when a kid trolls a school days before he commits, that is a dead give-a-way that he is going elsewhere.
Historically, this has been going on for years, especially against LSU.
We all would love to be wrong tomorrow, but his behavior says Texas. If we get his teammate (RB), that would be great.
At this point, I am more concerned about getting McKinley. That is the recruit LSU needs the most come 2024-25.

Amen. There's no reason LSU shouldn't have a top 5 class every year. Anything less should be viewed as a failure. How can Kirby waltz into Georgia and land top class after top class but LSU which has been the better program for 20 years cant achieve that?

You hit the nail on the head. UGA hadn’t won anything in 40 years and was signing #1 classes beating out Nick Saban and Alabama. LSU is a bigger brand as a whole than UGA. LSU has done more this century than UGA and really more than anyone other than Alabama. Even after 2019 season the best of all time, recruiting didn’t skyrocket for LSU the way I thought it would. Something needs to change. People shouldn’t accept anything less than top 5 classes with occasional top 3 classes.

There truly isn’t any worse “insiders” out there than the ones that claim to be LSU insiders. These guys are consistently wrong. They consistently put in a barrage of picks for a guy to LSU and then a day before the commitment they flip it
