bama gonna tell their higher ranked QB to look around and the other guy wants to be a two sport player... I suppose it sounded better in your head.
Also, why would Bama tell him to look around? There are no class cap limits anymore. Bama takes players just keep others from getting them.

If he is smart, he will de-commit ASAP and open his recruiting back up because if he remains at Alabama, the earliest he could possibly see the field would be in 2027, which would be his redshirt senior season with only that one year to play.
In fact, I can't believe he even committed to Alabama, in the first place, without ever taking that into consideration. Proving you are not afraid of competition is one thing. But proving at the same time that you are incredibly stupid is another thing.

That poor kid got his feelings hurt big time at STM. I don’t blame the kid, I wouldn’t go wherever Howard is. I have no idea what happens at Bama but for him I bet Walker Howard is like the damn boogeyman.

I don't believe LSU ever pushed that hard for Eli Holstein. They went real hard for Dante Moore and probably continue to do so. LSU will probably now ramp up the pressure on Rickie Collins now that Moore has committed to Oregon.
It may be due to the fact that Holstein does not fit the mold of the type of offense that Denbrock and CBK want to build at LSU. Moore and Collins do however do fit Denborock's offensive style.

Howard beat Holstein out at STM but I don't believe the family packed up and moved to Zachary just so Eli could start. That kind of seems like a dumb reason for the entire family to pack up and move an hour away. What really happened his mom got a better job in Zachary so they moved.

Holstein was a freshman at STM...
I keep seeing these shortsided posts about how scared he was of Howard. Try looking at the result of what he has made of himself by going somewhere else. He has achieved as much or more as Howard in HS and he still has a yr to play... They carry roughly the same 247 ratings
