It’s only going to get better for them. They moved into a brand new building a few years ago, and have a nice turf field backing up to the levee in Algiers. I bike by it all the time, and it’s refreshing to see a bunch of kids out there at 8am on a Saturday running heaters or doing 7 on 7. Always activity on that field.

Absolutely. Keeping them out of trouble is the hardest part. The Hulu documentary on Karr was really good.

This sounds exactly like the "factory" Kiffin had been told about/alluded to and we should have a direct pipeline to it

I understand they go out and get the kids they want, but the impressive thing to me is the standards they set academically as well as on the field/court.

You should read the book " Across the River".

It's amazing what Coach Brown does for that community.

Karr was a junior high school until 1990 before it became a high school.

Went there for Jr. High in the 80's. We had quite a football team and band even then. Al Ott (Jimmy's dad) was coach - member of '58 championship team. On game days any students who wanted to go got out early and loaded up on busses to Pan American or Behrman stadium, chanting fight songs all the way.

I’m not knocking their hustle. They have an awesome program. Much rather see them dominate than Curtis. Can’t stand JC.

They got me rooting for Curtis to beat them…
