Who's giving up? Orgeron went in-home with Sopsher on Sunday, which was the first day of the contact period. If the staff was giving up, Orgeron would have gone in home on some random Wednesday in December, not on the very first day he was able to.

Maybe Orgeron and the staff should give up on Sospher and focus on other DL recruits. We will all be bummed that Sospher didn't come here, but it will be much more disappointing if they don't finish very, very strong on the defensive line.

There are 8 of the top 10 committed. 6 of the 8 to LSU.

So, as it stands we will get 60% of our top in state recruits. That’s awesome.

60%

Math not your thing? 6 out of 8 is 75%.

And of the 2 that didn't commit to LSU, how many did we offer and recruit heavily?

Pretty sure he said 60% of our state's top recruits, not 60% of our state's top committed recruits.

Damn. You're right. We're only at 30% for 2020 and 0% for 2021! What the hell are we paying Orgeron for? This is totally unacceptable!

Seriously, dude. How are you going to count guys who aren't committed anywhere in your recruiting melt?

The truth is, we're probably getting every instate kid that we want except one this year. Last year was exactly the same.

I’m not the one who melted. I just said the guy’s math is correct.

I don’t really care about that top 10 list. I DO think we need to keep our top linemen in state. Pretty sure O agrees with that as well.

It’s 6 of 10, 60%

Ok, maybe we don’t want two of them... I don’t know. What I do know is that someone was crowing about how we have 6/8 of 10 committed, No matter how you try to slice that up to make it sound like O is locking down the state, it’s 60% of the top ten players in the state. That is, if the 6/8 of 10 all sign with us

I'm not trying to slice anything up. I'm saying you can't count the uncommitted guys. By your logic, we should be up in arms because we only have 3 of the top 10 for the 2020 class.

The reality is not all kids want to come to LSU for one reason or another. Some get paid off, some grew up fans of another team and some just want to get away from home! It's the reality of recruiting. I would love for us to land Sospher, but the truth be known, he hasn't been performed at a high level consistently all year for whatever reason. LSU will be fine either way!

OK Boys and Girls remember the Sophomore at Northside High that was all world and committed to LSU and then had some issues with Northside staff and Trev Faulk..Faulk left.. kid tried to go to IMG..had 1.5 gpa so that was a no go.....ended up at Notre Dame in Crowley ....playing against some small white kids which he didn't dominate...GPA came in at .01 percent below college eligibility requirements to play college football and then proceed to get fat and happy.. well 3 years later he's stilled not contributing much to our defensive line albeit he may have seen the light and will live up to his potential ..remember he was #1 recruit in the LA class of 2016....18/19 yr old kids are like a box of chocolates ... you never know what you'll get or what they want($$$)...but one day I predict that Saban will go down in flames just like the hero Lance Armstrong did... we know he cheats he just hasn't been caught yet!!!
