Can't really fault him for making a financial decision. Transferring and winning a Heisman isn't in everyone's future.

I can see Colorado winning 7 or 8 games next year.

The issue is going to be if they don’t get a good QB pull out of the transfer portal.

You have to consider, 4 wins is average at Colorado, and none of those teams had the QB talents they currently do… I’m throwing shade at coaching.

Deion is telling them he has something better than money. He has exposure. He has Gameday and Fox both doing preview shows on the same day on their campus. And in today's world, exposure leads to real NIL: national advertisements, not just being on the payroll of a plaintiff attorney.

That was when Colo was looking like they were legit. As it was they were only marginally better than his predecessor.

Didn't 3 QB's just decommit from them? They have no QB commits on the on3 list for 2024. Other than Shedeur the others can't be worth a damn.

Yeah but Prime has said before that he is going to take minimal HS recruits and do most of his roster building in the portal.

Will that work? We will see...

It wasn't a bad choice. Shadeur will be a Heisman candidate next year. They appear to be revamping their entire o-line and have some solid running backs. This season has shown that CU intends on being a pass-heavy offense.

Conversely, LSU is losing their top WR's and Heisman QB. Nuss has looked good some games and looked bad some games. Basically, you don't know what you're getting from the QB position at LSU. Plus, there's a perception that LSU is overall mediocre and due to take a step back next year offensively AND there's nothing so far to point to an improved defense.

Prime won’t win shat at Colorado! They can pump as much money into that situation as they’d like. Primes time in Colorado will not be pleasant!

No one revamps their entire OL through the portal. As shorthanded as we were in the 22 cycle, we still only took two and ended up starting two true freshman. And we have a much bigger name and rep than CU. With the competition for the few P5 starter quality OL in the portal, they will be lucky to get much better than they are today.

This excuse is getting tired for every recruit we don't get. We lost recruits before NIL.
