Still think Lache is silent or have you abandoned those thoughts?

starting to lose faith in my theory. I just don't know where all this USC smoke is coming from when no one in the recruiting world knows dick.

It wouldnt surprise me if he ended up at LSU, but now I'm at the point where it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't. Either/or, good luck to the kid.

Joe McKnight proved to me that not every RB with those characteristics turn out to be game breakers. USC could have lived without McKnight which in turn does not = 5*. We'll see.

After losing Porter our chances went from decent to very slim.

If all commits hold, LSU did well in the skill positions this year. Lache is the "sexy" pickup but he isn't a class breaker. It would just be icing. Wouldn't be disappointing. Honestly don't know how many touches he would see at LSU.

I'm done with Lache.

If he wants to come to LSU, great. We'll welcome him with open arms. If not, whatever.

I'm not sweating it.

I can't imagine what could be more appealing to this kid than all the things LSU has in its advantage.
This.

Personal opinion is that the remaining scholarships will be used on Lemonier and Ferguson. The only scholarship that could be available is Bates.

pretty sad that we were sitting pretty with 2 top players at 2 need positions who also had skill sets we needed a year ago and will now apparently get neither.

i like all 3 backs we got tho.

I thought all along that he was destined to be at LSU. With Uncle Eddie on the TAF board, figured it would just be a matter of time.

As it becomes clear that he is not, I just don't find where it upsets me very much. He is a talent, but his sophomore and junior highlight films don't stand out as much to me as his live performances on ESPNU.

After watching the disorganized and undisciplined LSU offense all season, I can't get out of my mind that last play on ESPNU when they threw a backwards pass behind him and he didn't make an attempt for the ball. Either unaware or disinterested, I don't know.

I'm sure if he ends up at LSU, I'll easily remember all the highlights.

IMO if Lache doesn't come here it's because of one of two reasons, he doesn't want to come here anymore or he waited too long to give a commitment. With the trouble we've had lately with getting our targeted running backs he should have known we didn't want to sit around and cross our fingers for signing day. This was a good call. We gave Lache more than enough time. He still may sign, but we couldn't afford to wait much longer. The program needs more backs and can't afford another McKnight, Richardson, etc. situation.

The three backs LSU has now are good enough for me. Don't know a lot about Blue, but I am impressed with Gore and Ware. With Ford already on board, Hill and hopefully Hilliard next year LSU will be sitting pretty for RB's.

Seastrunk still possiblitly...Blue and Ware, could play linebacker..So, we may only have one running back with Gore..He's replacing Holliday, as a punt returner and Slash guy

That guy is the ZeeDustin of the recruiting board. He knows about as much about the recruiting game as Miles knows about clock management.

Seastrunk knows he could start over anyone we have committed. So the answer is no.

How you go from where LS was with respect to LSU last year to where he is with LSU now is unfathomable to me.
Right about that, everyone last year was calling LS a 'lock' for LSU...
