Billionaires didn’t get to be billionaires by letting others tell them how to spend their money. They will invest in something if it benefits them, I.e. buying a few politicians. So they will buy a suite at the games to impress others, spending millions on an unproven player who might be a bust, not so much.

Pretty sure Art Favre is worth over a billion. MMR, ISC, and Performance Contractors were all founded out of the 1972 LSU Construction Management class. Jim Bernhard is definitely worth more than a billion

You don't need Billionaires. Folks with $5 to 10 million equipped with the infamous positioning discussed by John Goodman in "The Gambler". A handful of folks situated accordingly can accomplish the same objectives.
