Bingo CC. The kids who want to get a massive pay day up front rather than earn NIL through on field results and eventually a career in the NFL don’t belong here. Some kids just have to find out the hard way.

coaches did everything they could to recruit and LSU laid out the red carpet ... neither McK nor Mack showed any interest in committing to LSU. NEITHER player took an official to LSU as the writing is on the wall ... they had desires to play elsewhere and leave the State.
Regardless if they're in-state or OOS, I want recruits who truly want to be at LSU and will commit to help this team win a NC.

I think Mack was turned off by the excitement around the other DBs in this class, which is loaded. Mckinley just seems like a total whiff to me, and at a critical position. Football and NIL is just one piece of the puzzle and the staff seems to have not picked up on that.
Sucks when UGA and Bama go layers and layers of top notch DLmen. Back to the portal for a school that produced players like Lavalais, Dorsey, Brockers, Bennie Logan…

Well here’s the thing about that, CBK wouldn’t allow them to use their official over the summer.

Don't think either of those reasons is the case. LSU was recruiting Mack as a S, and apparently he views himself as a CB. There's a mis-alignment there.
And for Dom, his family is stressing academics, which no offense to LSU, but UT is a superior academic institution, and especially in computer science, which is what he's supposedly interested in studying.
There's obviously quite a few other contributing factors as well, but those stuck out.
