Get guys who want to be at the school that are Tre White level and not Dezz Ricks.

Can you explain what "level" you think Tre White was? For one thing, Tre white was literally a 5*. For two, his outcome was well ABOVE the average outcome for a 5* CB.

I promise you that neither LSU nor any other program in the country is strategically turning down "tre white level" guys. Saying "get the guys who are tre white level and want to be at lsu" is equivalent to just saying "recruit the best possible class you can get". Great advice, man.

Pretty sure Kelly made the right decision.

We don’t really even know how good Rick’s is because he hasn’t really done anything yet and wants tons of money. That is not the right attitude at all to have. Prove it on the field and then get paid son. Damn

So either we're not willing to pay or it's because we don't have a DB coach

What about all the other portal targets that we've passed on? Is it money or is it because we didn't have their position coach hired?

And what have you seen of Ricks on the field to warrant him getting paid tons of money?

GOOD, used any $$$ potentially allocated to him, and other NIL $$$, for (2) impactful DT's.

False.. they are now pursuing him cause Decameron Richardson is now going pro. Not sure if you knew that. That was the one that was a big get for them and hurt us to not get. Jury is still out on ricks.

He didn't see the field this year except a little mop up duty. he was a project w/ high upside but LSU needs a proven contributor for next season, not a risk. I don't know if Amos has interest but he fits what LSU needs for next season.

Delayed gratification. They need to learn something about that.

Exactly, based on what Kelly wants to do you bring in a one year guy, and keep developing the young guys. Amos played and was legit, Rick’s hasn’t proved shite.
