This is old news. Everyone knows that he has been waiting on a offer that probably won't come. Things will play out.

Devonta... bring yourself to Alabama. Gray shirt if you have to if you don’t want to be at LSU.

He is stringing LSU along hoping for a Bama offer. Will only committ to us when Saban doesn’t make room. We sure offer and if he doesn’t sign on early signing day, pull it!

Alabama does not have room for him, unless they strike out on multiple major targets in the end which I don't see
Didn't they just flip an outstanding 5* WR? I thought I saw that somewhere.

Between room and depth chart we should get somewhat a leg up.

100% agreed. This thread is an absolute embarrassment to be seen by ANY LSU recruit or commit.

Its tim eour " fans " quit the idle speculation or the defeatism to BAMA or any other and quit making commnets that frankly have no positive impact, These recruits do not have to make decisions on your time table, Unless and until they choose elesewhere they are still possiiblities for LAU.

Why would a recruit want to come to LSU when its fan base is throwing shite on him. Let the cocahes do their jobs and be supportive. In state players owe LSU nothing more than the out of state players LSU signs every year.

Is this your first year ever following recruiting?

Is it yours? I’ve seen this movie play out many times with Bama, and specifically with players from that area in recent years.

Has it occurred to you that maybe he’s not 100% sure and wanted to wait until his season is over to evaluate his options and make the best decision for him?

The decision is not in his hands until bama lets him know if they have a spot for him, hence the waiting. Shea has said as much on radio. Shea thinks he will end up at LSU because there won’t be a spot for him at Bama, especially with their recent pickups.

He’s not a part of the organization yet. And he’s not a middle manager at McDonald’s, he’s a football player. You should give that same speech to Sean Payton and Taysom Hill since they’re obviously missing out on key management concepts. Of all the things to shite on O about, that one is a little ridiculous

You don't pull the offer...but you definitely don't guarantee that it will still be there either. You continue to recruit him, but if there just so happens to be another guy on the board who you rank higher, and that guy commits before Lee, then so be it. You keep your options open as long as the kid keeps his open.

Who? Specifically.

Rashard Lawrence’s father told me his junior year of highschool that he was going to LSU and that Ohio State was the only other player that could land him. Then 2 weeks later Shea reported that Bama led for him.

Remeber this time last year when Shea said he expected Surtain and Goodrich to sign with LSU?

What about the year before when he said that he expected LSU to land Marvin Wilson?

Let me help you out- 80% of the times these guys guesses are just as good as ours. They follow the kids on Twitter, message them once a month and talk to them at camps. 17 and 18 year olds change their mind ten times a day.

Maybe grow up and stop throwing a fit about a kid taking a decision to signing day. Or even better- don’t get your panties in a wad over a teenage boy and where he wants to go to school. Let the process play out. Getting upset about it want change the outcome.

Isn't that the issue though? "I could go over there and 'make plays'.....some slot, maybe some defense...."

No organization is as successful as it could be without clearly defined roles. From a management / coaching perspective, it's difficult to demand accountability and it creates a lack of trust / understanding that person's role by the rest of the team. Alabama sells a clear role / career path. Hey, come to LSU and support The Boot, you can do some of this and some that. That's very Miles-ish (Skyler Green and Russell Shepard).

There is so much stupid in this post, it's hard to wrap my head around it all.
