Sounds awesome assuming its not a negotiating tactic.

Crown do you get the feeling Rick's goes to the school he likes the most or goes to the school that pays him the most through NIL?

Not crown but i get the feeling that his dad and him are smart enough to not pick a school solely off money.
I'm sure florida is going to go all out on nil after missing cormani.

To me it's school + immediate playing time. NFL money will be there for the caliber of player he is. Other side of that coin is how big of a bag supposedly Cormani got if you choose to believe such things.

Not Crown, but he is going to the school that he loves, and will be appropriately compensated.. But he really wants best coaching so can be in NFL in 3 years...Not set in stone because is taking a trip each to Bama and Fla....BUT I think the consensus of even their fans Kneaux were he will Geaux...
Geaux Tigahs !!!

Curious…
Why does his Miami picture have a CFP trophy? And the dollar bills flying around

By no means am I saying the kid that committed to Miami isn't good but if I were a coach I am not sure I want someone who emphasizes the money part of his recruitment to that extent.

It’s also telling of how inconsistent Alabama’s secondary has been despite the level of talent. Florida is just lost currently, I’d imagine he’s smart enough to see the work House, Steeples, and others are doing at LSU, to be reasonably compensated and groomed to be an elite NFL prospect, as you mentioned. Good insight as always brother.

Dude even had a pile of money put in his commitment edit

I can't see him picking florida.

Steeples is turning out to be a DOG on the trail..I wish House were a lil more into cruitin, but just like when Aranda was here..Kids know where the really good coaching is..Even if coordinator not a in house visit kind of guy. He blows them away on their on campus visits when he has elaborate tools to show said recruit how his future should predict as a Tiger ....

I’m sure that has absolutely nothing to do with the coaching those guys are (not) receiving from some highly touted, highly compensated DB coach….

UF’s staff is a disaster and Raymond is washed
Bama’s staff is a big ? because who knows who will be retained. Their current DBs have regressed.
LSU’s DBs have improved every game and are in a great scheme. No brainer.

Obviously if all else is equal, you'd prefer an enthusiastic recruiter to a less-than-enthusiastic recruiter, but even from a purely recruiting standpoint I actually think it's better to have a staff with a wide range of personalities. We've got plenty of GO-GO-GO high-energy always-be-crootin' type guys on this staff--I think having other guys who are kind of more the professorial, reserved, high-intelligence types can be an active benefit as a changeup.
In O's last two years, the entire staff was made up of Rah-Rah energy guys, with very little variation. You need those guys--and they're probably the more important guys on the recruiting trail--but I don't think it's ideal to have a full staff's worth of them. You want guys who will build relationships with the kids, but you also want guys who can really wow them with x's and o's and scheme and long-term planning and vision. It's great to make the kids feel like they're family, but you also want to show them that there are adults in the room who have a plan for their success and are going to hold them to account.

Y’all need to understand that cash has always had something to do with it for big time players
It’s just legal now
Just get the best players available, period
