No I realize, I don’t think you realize that the NCAA doesn’t care about how much frick you money these programs have, if they aren’t getting any money.

There is no putting NiL and transfer portal back in the bottle. Adapt or die

I don’t know how many players have to go where the money is before you people understand that actual recruiting is not taking place anymore. So unless LSU can get people to blindly throw their money away to 18 year old kids you are going to have a lot of players going random places following the money.College football recruiting is just a big live auction and the highest bidder 9 out of 10 times is going to win.Every so often a kid won’t care about the money and they coming regardless but most kids aren’t turning down $200k-$500k

You'll get downvoted but you're right. Top 15 / top 20 classes are probably the expectation now. Maybe top 10 once in a while.

The days of LSU finishing with a top 3 or top 5 class are done. We absolutely do not have the money to build elite recruiting classes with the top dogs.

I mean it's beyond obvious at this point as yet another elite player has left the state.

Wow! Someone actually paying attention in recruiting. This is a very well thought out take. Too bad people will just say you’re melting without any factual data to back them up

Yeah we have an ambulance chaser attorney leading the way against old oil money…

We’re not going to outgun them there, just going to have to start winning again to get the ball rolling

Winning has 0 to do with it. Have you seen the colleges raking up in recruiting right now? Texas hasn't been relevant since Vince Young days...

Nothing in that posts is factual

You have no idea where LSU ranks in NiL currently or where they will rank in a year
Also LSU leads for the top 5 LA recruits in 24

Miles and O both had worse classes than ours last year then recovered

It's time for this staff to get to work.

The staff is busting its arse. We simply can’t or won’t compete with the money players. I lean more towards can’t but I won’t leave anything off the table.

Let’s be honest here y’all, these are for the most part young black kids that for the majority probably don’t come from the a middle class background. The music they listen to, the athletes they are influenced by, the things they see in other mediums all hammer home the idea that it’s all about the money. So likely, 90% of them and most of them at the top end, will only give a frick about the dollar bill at the end of the day.

We can’t match what aTm, UT, Georgia, USC, OSU, or Michigan can throw at those guys. And most people aren’t crazy enough to bankrupt themselves in order for their football team to be good like Alabama.

Maybe I’m wrong, I could be. But we simply don’t have endless pockets to pull from.

If that's the case than we won't be competing for championships again. We'll be mid tier program
