That's exactly who he needs as his roommate. An elite player who also has his head screwed on tight.

just curious - what makes you say Perkins “has his head screwed on tight”? on the field he’s incredible, but i haven’t heard much about him off the field.

also a risk that Perkins rooming with someone who has behavioral issues, Perk starts also having behavioral issues…

How do you know he isn't a good coach?

I’ve seen him “coach” in person. Reminds me a lot of Ed O. Ra ra ra no substance!!!
That “ra ra” shite only gets you so far. Time will tell on this one. Winning the SWAC with 10 times the talent as anyone else you’re competing against just isn’t impressive to me. It’s why I have zero respect for Bear Bryant as an actual coach.

How do you know he is?

Word is Perkins would be his room mate

I'd love for Harris to come to LSU as long as he's properly aligned, but I don't love the idea of our Freshman All-American linebacker having to babysit him.

Knucklehead syndrome works both ways. Sometimes the guys with their heads screwed on right can positively impact the decisions of the knucklehead. But occasionally, the knucklehead can impact the decisions of the kids who have it together.

He's also been one of the more active players in terms of community outreach (visiting kids in the hospital and such).

Perkins looks like a good dude even after the Arkansas game when he went beast mode you saw him having fun with the LSU fans that made the trip. Hope after this fame doesn't get to him.

He should probably talk to Travis Hunter about following Deion

Travis Hunter has ZERO issues, not in the same situation and he's very close with Deion and his family. Just a unique situation.

I can vouch for this as well.

He’s been named scholar athlete of the week quite a few times for the whole team. For true freshman first time in college that’s impressive.

In his first meeting with the team he said he would assemble the best coaching staff in the country! Have y’all seen what he’s assembled so far? SWAC coaches and Willie freaking Taggert! Trash staff!

I rest my case on the comment that he reminds me of Ed Orgeron.

Still don't know why peope think Deion is a good coach. He was basically coaching a HS team.

Deion played for some of the greatest coaches of his era. I’m sure he picked up something valuable from each of them.

I believe he can be successful off recruiting.
