Defensive End/ Edge Rusher is biggest need…

Well tbd it might be QB if Nuss doesn’t come back.

At WDE we have Reliford (who could play SDE), Cobbins, Carpenter, Cj Jackson and FR Shanklin. Reliford looks good. Cobbins has nice HS tape, but who knows how he performs at this level.

Now that we got more DT help, maybe Breaux could slide out to the SDE spot where Savion played.

I was really hoping this was going to be the opportunity for Womack to shine and now he's hit the portal.

In summary, after losing Womack I think we need to shop for a WDE in the portal unless we can coax Womack back.

This could be true but safety is a close second

We need another Swinson. Not sure we'll find one that good as he was special.

I agree to an extent, but there are guys out there at smaller schools who have developed nicely…have to do a little tampering…just like all the other schools leading in this space

Agree on your points here. I loved Cobbins HS highlights and thought/may still think he was the most underrated player signed in the last HS class. But as always, some guys can't make the jump from HS to college. We'll see about Cobbins next season. Harold Perkins is the perfect example of a guy who simply was never able to find a college position where he could excel.

Once again, you must not understand what the transfer portal is. It is just as much part of recruiting as HS signees are. Sooooo nooooo, I do SEE what you said because it makes 0 sense! You need to quit talking about recruiting since you are totally IGNORANT about the process. AFTER the end of the transfer portal...both of them I might add, then come back and WHINE like an 8 year old. You obviously can't stand Kelly and now just looking for some nonsense excuse to bash him.

This is not true as we had another highly-ranked DE committed. Unfortunately he flipped at the last minute supposedly trying to hold us hostage for some additional dollars. That said, we really need that Swinson replacement if that's even possible

You just keep hating on Brian Kelly and coming up with utter nonsense excuses for doing so. And you might want to TRY to understand how recruiting actually works...right now, you clearly have no clue that transfer portal is the way to fill immediate needs....NOT counting on HS seniors who have never played one down of college football.
