Didn't Godchaux commit AFTER his injury? He was planning to announce later in the year, then his injury happened, and he committed soon after.
It was most likely always a scholarship hold for him.

I hope this post was not directed at me..I said that I dont blame the staff for this in this very thread. I also find the constant criticism as a cop out, as a large contingent of our fans dont know dick about football and just automatically blame the coach. I love Les. I want him to retire here, and I wouldnt mind if Cameron or Wilson replaced him.

Hopefully he is just enjoying the experience. I would have to belive his best oppurtunity is with us. We can offer a lot of playing time if he is the real deal.

To the poster that commented about the negativity of the past, that negativity has been eliminated. Believe me, he is and ALWAYS will be LSU. And Davon NEVER hung out with bad character people, we have surruonded him with positive people. And he is not following anyone. He is a LEADER.
