The word commit shouldn't be used til they fax their letter of intent. It's about like exclusive dating, not being married.

LSU is seeking other recruits as we speak..

LSU needs recruits that want to play here..period.

I hate to bring this up again, but:

There are still tons of "alleged" LSU fans that bad mouth and degrade our staff on a daily basis.
These recruits are still subjected to that on a daily basis.

During the Auburn/FSU game I was with a group of fans and there were 2 guys bad mouthing Les Miles every 5 minutes. Pathetic

This is poison to teenagers that look up to some of these adults. If it happens here it happens everywhere.

If you hate the coach then at least hold back your anger for the sake of the program, in the end LSU loses here.
This is my opinion and thank goodness LF and the other recruits are strong minded enough not to buy into this immaturity and nonsense by bandwagon fans...

I'm sure there are some recruiting geniuses now that will rip this post apart with their supreme knowlwdge on the rcruiting and the minds of teenagers....that is all

Let the kids take their visits and chose where they want to go. If they end up coming to LSU then I'll be thrilled. If they decide to go somewhere else then so be it, it's their decision and they have to live with it for better or worse. Hell if I was a recruit I would want to go take all my visits and decide what is best for me. If they don't want to come to LSU then we will just get somebody that WANTS to come here and help the Tigers win.

Overall you people need to grow the frick up and act like adults and let people live their own life and make their own decisions.

But if a LA guy goes to Bama then shame on you!

Does anyone think the other "Big shakeup" at LSU could be Brick Haley leaving? Maybe these kids already know.

How else can we explain not having any DT commits a year after sending 3 D Lineman to the NFL and 2 starters leaving this year?

Something's up

Free trip to LA, can't blame him for taking it. Maybe he's into Asian girls.

lsuhunt555 Davon Godchaux decommitted? Why does he need to decommit to take a visit? He doesnt, he's just being a diva.

Maybe he wants the free trip to Los Angeles with his teammates and he wants to be courted and wined and dined and he thinks that if he is committed to LSU, then he won't get the red carpet treatment?

Maybe his mother or an uncle or a neighbor told him to get his while he can and he wants every perk he can get and doesn't want his "commitment" to get in the way of that. Maybe he is still solid to LSU but wants to enjoy the process?

Who knows?

Don't bash the kid. Let's see what happens.

yeah I think he will end up at LSU in the end but if he is going to UCLA with Dupre and Young, I guess that means they are in his ear about the other schools..?

Taking into consideration our very strong push for Alaka, I'm not feeling optimistic about Young.

I don't see us taking four LBs in this class. If the staff felt good about Young, I don't think they would be selling so hard to Alaka.

Still, there is a chance they like their shot with Young but are not taking anything for granted.

Blew out his knee and, from what I recall, he said most of his offers went away with the exception of LSU's. Im all for a free trip, but to decommitt and now Florida and Ole Miss are popping up as possible destinations? Im just not buying the "free trip" thing.

He is getting some pressure from people that surround him. They do not like the element that he was hanging with in Plaquemine and feel that he needs to leave to remove himself from that negativity
