Ol tight hips Curtis ran for almost 100 yds.

Didn’t 80 of those come on one play? Works both ways.

So he averaged 11 yards per carry. Yep. That’s some lockdown shite there

It will be playing for Riley on the left coast.

quote:

But if he's a 4th rounder at SC and out of the league in 3-5 years he'll be coaching at Many for the next 15 years and no one outside of south Sabine parish will even remember his name.

It's a 40 year decision. Not a 4 year one.

I hope he has fun playing on Friday nights in Los Angeles in front of 35k strong in a Lincoln Riley defense.

Well said.

Curtis over pursued then got pancakes and fell down. He was never held on that play. Video below

Riley coaches defense? I’m sure he will ball out with the elite defensive coaching in the Pac-12. Excellent choice.

You’re right. He would never make it in the sec. As you’ve said it’s where white linebackers go to die

Holley had over 100 yds rushing in only 7 rushing attempts right off the bat. Then he barely touched the ball again.

Sounds to me like it’s more of Unions dumb coaching decisions to just stop feeding Holley than Curtis shutting Holley down.

Imagine winning a state championship and coming to TD to talk shite to recruiting fans who have absolutely zero to do with the actual recruitment of your kid. Damn dude.

Good luck to him at USC but watching his film he’s very stiff. Takes him multiple steps to make cuts that fluid athletes can make in one cut. Wouldn’t cut it in the SEC at linebacker.

I think he could play in the SEC and would be a huge get for lsu. He’s the exception. I think he’s the 2nd or 3rd best player in state, not necessarily one of the top prospects. But lsu needs bodies at LB

Once again, I had completely forgotten about this kid until some random decides to make a post about him. I suspect most LSU fans are in the same boat. It's like the folks in Many, wherever that is, are pleading, on bended knee, for LSU fans to say they are heartbroken that he's going elsewhere.

Nobody CARES where he's going to school. Are all people in Many,(again, wherever that is) members of some strange cult? Creepy.

And last year Holly ran all over Many and Tackett Curtis when Union whipped their arse. So there’s that.

I agree with you but lsu would love to have tackett curtis. I'm sure if you asked house he would take him tom.

The kid can play. So can holly. I wish lsu could grab them both.

Difference is, LSU can go find another LB. The Curtis family can't find another LSU to care about them as much as they think they deserve.

My 15 year old daughter would be an elite linebacker in the Puss 12.

Comin from someone from that dump of a city monroe lol

heres the write-up on ON3

quote:

On3 MVP: LB Tackett Curtis – USC
Elite Many (La.) LB Tackett Curtis was brilliant in his prep sendoff, which certainly has been a theme for the season. This fall, Curtis has been a force that can’t be withstood, and Saturday’s finale was more of the same. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder churned out 111 yards on seven carries (15.9 YPC), which included a sensational 80-yard burst in the opening half in which Curtis dispelled would-be tacklers and somehow maintained his balance to finish off the run.

By the way, that, too, has been a theme all season long.

Defensively, Curtis accounted for seven tackles and another TFL. He can deliver big hits, but in this contest, the longtime USC commit was quick to hit the gaps and sound containing and wrapping up against the Trey Holly-led rushing attack. He’s a bonafide difference-maker and capped a stellar prep career with a resounding effort in a rivalry game. After multiple in-person evaluations, this analyst believes Curtis is squarely in the conversation as one of the best players at his position in this cycle.
