I imagine he'd find a lot more open shots with the level of attnetion the players at LSU will receive.

This must be the new guy CJJ talked about. Wonder who the casualty is.

Everyone seemed to miss that Collins was transferring.

After the initial thread about it, there was nothing, no official statement or announcement. Radio silence.
Easy for that to get lost in the shuffle.

Yeah but I thought the Turk was taking the spot from Collins so who leaves to open this one?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 9:04 am to BigEdLSU
The Turk didnt have an offer
Posted on 5/15/13 at 9:09 am to sunnydaze
The Turk is not joining LSU then? When did that come out?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 9:09 am to BigEdLSU
Whether his commitment to LSU was accepted or not, we do not know.
Based on the silence around, I guess we can assume no.

Is anyone hearing anything about more potential attrition from the current roster?
Posted on 5/15/13 at 9:21 am to ProjectP2294
not at the moment
when i first opened this i was hoping he was a grad. trasnfer like carmouche hwo could slot in right away but he looks like a player. could slide into stringer's role in 2014/2015.

Vinales has made three official visits – to La Salle, Kent State and Buffalo. He also has made unofficial visits to Detroit, Oakland and Toledo.
Vinales will take an official visit to LSU in early June, after the upcoming two-week NCAA recruiting dead period. A player is allowed five official visits, which are paid for by the host school, and unlimited unofficial visits, which are paid for by the recruit. Vinales also hopes to visit Arizona State and Xavier, using his final official visit to see one and an unofficial to see the other.
