I know it may be seen as beneath LSU to do this but you could also say you’re honestly doing it so that more kids don’t make the same mistake.

I would put up a huge tracker on the wall somewhere in one of the football facilities showing all the kids who decided to come to LSU, who were in state kids, as well as OOS kids. Highlight the ones who spurned LSU for the hell of it but also the ones who committed to LSU from the start and stuck with it.

From that you can ask the kids who you are recruiting to take a look for themselves, who really is developing kids and who is just getting really talented kids. I bet there are plenty of success stories for us to show as well as failure for us to show.

Don’t worry, Dylan got paid pretty well at Bama. Probably the reason he went there.

Can we please stop piling on the Moses family? We all agree what he did LSU and Louisiana was wrong,

No you are wrong! First haven’t seen anyone piling on the “Moses” family. I see people piling on Dylan Moses, but who cares he is an ex-bama player that is what rivals do they pile on their rivals.

Moses made a business decision for himself, he doesn’t owe LSU one thing nor does any other player “Louisianan or not” owe LSU a damn thing. They owe it to themselves to make the best decision for themselves!

People might not like that, but those are the facts. Now Louisianan’s, LSU, LSU students and alumni can be disappointed when a native Louisianan, who is a good athlete, decides to take their talents elsewhere but they don’t owe us anything in reality.

So when somebody like Moses does spurn LSU for another school, especially a hated rival like Bama, then they are fair game when it comes to calling them out. Sorry but it is what it is!

And that doesn’t apply to just LSU, that applies to any athlete that spurns their in-state home school.

Lol Stop it, please! Listen, a kid is entitled to go wherever he wants to, he or she owes LSU or any state that they live in absolutely nothing. With Dylan Moses, I believe his story was that he was committed to LSU when Miles was still the HC, but after Leslie was fired he fell for Saban's shenanigans as you put it.

I see this here alot. It's incorrect chronology.

A) Moses de-committed PRIOR to Miles getting fired. In fact, he decommitted prior to the 2015 TAMU game in which Les' job was saved. So he bailed before the firing of Les went from "warm seat" to actual discussions.

B) not only were he and his dad commenting on Les not getting fired as a decommit, they were commenting on Les retaining his job as Alabama commits.

Let's be very clear about the true nature and facts here: He said Les shouldn't be fired as a Gump.

No, what you're saying is wrong. I remember him visiting Orgeron on LSU's campus who was trying to recruit him because he was still not committed yet. After the visit he said it was a nice visit and all, but that he did not know coach Orgeron, and that he had an established relationship with coach Miles and was committed to him and was sorry to see him go, but now that he's been fired... Well, you know the rest, but I clearly remember reading that story.

Moses decommitted from LSU and the word was already out that he was leaning towards Alabama before the 2016 season started. Les Miles started the season like shite and was fired four games in to the year. Orgeron started as the interim coach on September 25th, 2016. Moses committed to Alabama on October 2nd, 2016 a week after Orgeron became the interim coach.

Both of you are partially correct. Moses committed to Bama on 10/2/16 as stated. He took an official visit to LSU on 12/9/16 but was committed to Bama. He enrolled at Bama in Jan of 2017...

It is all there in 247 history timeline.

Some other pertinent history. He decommitted LSU in 2015. He named LSU as leader a couple wks before he committed to Bama. This is where the Moses Miles smoke comes from.

If he would have stayed home he would have made 6 figures in state doing Jack shite. Hopefully the fast food chains in Alabama will remember him and hire him.
