If Toviano or Kylin Jackson flipped last class the rant would’ve been shut down. Neither one of these kids meaningfully touch the field this year. Sage Ryan goes to Bama then there would have been a riot on Skip Bertman Drive. Now no one wants him in the starting lineup for our defense. Point is.. chill out, see who we get and focus on that. Bates will probably be the next great one. The kid we are about to flip from Ole Miss will be a typical Louisiana dog who was underestimated and will probably be a 4 year starter. Take a deep breath.

This whole thing is a contradiction in itself.

Just like you mentioned above, recruits don't always turn out how you think they will. You just named 2 guys and act like they're going to be top tier players for us over the next 4 years. We have absolutely no idea how they'll pan out. That's why you have to stack talent, for depth and to see who actually rises to the occasion.

I agree there's no reason to panic but it's okay to be concerned about the perception of our program in the eyes of defensive recruits.

You are right King, but there are clearly people on here whose only agenda is to subvert Kelly's program. The man worked miracles last year and had a very good recruiting class. The quality of this year's class remains to be seen, but this is also a down year in Louisiana talent. I am confident that we will be fine when all is said and done.

A four star at a position of little need from A&M de-commits and doesn’t commit here and we celebrate and laugh at A&M. We lose our highest ranked cb (huge position of need) and we need to calm down. I am sure southeastern or mcneese has a guy we can replace him with.

First off, Dre’lon is a monster and would be a huge get. Him decomitting from A&M is huge because it could have the snowball effect.

Remember how we finished for 2nd with a lot of these East Texas Aggie commits?

Losing Ondre’ does suck though.

Touché, zy looks to be the #1 again next year. May take a huge improvement next year, however we’re talking about dbu. Shouldn’t have to gamble on fcs.

It’s not huge unless he pulls the trigger. Which I wouldn’t get my hopes up. aTm has all the time they need to enlarge the bag.

That says more about the coaching than the players...

“Boobie” Causey is probably the best cornerback in the New Orleans area besides Wardell, he’s underrated for sure.

Him and Wallace Foster are good friends.

He also has a son, so the proximity to his son could be a major factor in his decision to flip.

We don’t want the over rated ones; only the under rated ones. Only problem is we don’t have position coaches on defense that can apparently tell the difference. It shows up not on site ratings but on the field. We’ve been finding out who really can’t play up to LSU standards, not on signing day and especially from the “experts” on this site but on the field when it’s too late. That usually isn’t the case when we have competent coaches who can hit evaluation most of the time. How has this defensive staff done so far? You be the judge.
