We have A lot of Wr's a head of him on our board...Maybe it just isn't meant to be...Longshot but maybe we can focus on a guy like Adoree Jackson.

But why did he snub them? I get the feeling that incident last year before the Bama game really turned him off.

Unfortunately, miles doesn't play like that.

Shows you a lot about his character and how good it is

Actually I think it shows how stupid and living in the past he is. If it is not against the rules "and it isn't" and it helps you recruit and land top targets "and it does" than using that in your arsenal to help recruit is not a bad thing. Look it has to be within reason and Sims is not an untalented recruit by any means. And in another year where we are not top heavy in the state with WR's he probably gets ranked higher and gets offered. This year is just that 3 of our WR targets are in the top 10. But he is ranked 14th in the state that in itself should tell everyone, this kid can play.

I don't think it says anything about character that you will not package deals because package deals are not against the rules. It just limits your options.

I've seen him play plenty...his ranking is where it needs to be....ever thought reason he snubbed camps was because he knew he couldn't compete against other WR and didn't want others to see that

POINT 1: I can understand a kid wanting to experience other parts of the country but that can't be whats happening here because he is only considering Bama instead of places like USCw.

Point 2: I just don't buy into the "Bama buys it's players" or "Its all about the money" because LSU boosters can get mom a so called job for six figures a year with a job description of "frick around the house all day and enjoy your direct deposits." That would bring in much more money than any bag man could. JMHO on that subject

POINT 3: Losing Cam is a HUGE FREAKING DEAL DAMNITT!! Anyone who acts like they don't believe that needs to take a look at how effective DJ Fluker was for the gumps. Some fans might not take notice of the trenches but I watch more of the trench action than I do anything else while enjoying a FB game on any level. The worst part of it would be that he would be choosing the one team that has barely been able to stand between us and at least one more crystal ball. Yes, losing him to Bama is huge period, end of story, no doubt about it.

POINT 4: If Cam is really an LSU fan then he will be wearing an LSU hat on ESPN this Wed. There is no way that an LSU fan who plays for an High School HC who loves the Tigers and has a mom that loves LSU would announce early that he is going to Bama. If he commits to Bama, then he was never really an LSU fan.

FINAL POINT: No, Bama is not descisively better than LSU. Bama was very lucky to pull last year's game out of their arses after LSU beat them on the stat board soundly. The year before proved them to be even luckier just to get the rematch even though LSU laid an egg.

Yep, the bottom line is that LSU and Bama have been #1 and #2 with both teams winning crystal in the immediate years before that. Anyone who acts like Bama has LSU's number is either a pathetic excuse for an LSU fan who hasn't watched the two last regular season games or they are a typical gump who would love us to think that way.

I think that it's time for some of the weak minded fans who have been posting retarded crap about Cam need to act like they are a part of one of the most famous fan bases in the nation. We travel better than anyone and we rock out Valley better than anyone else rocks theirs!

Come on Down Cam! This year's class will be historic and I would love to see you be a part it! Bama's days are numbered and it's LSU that will end them!

He camped in 2012. Kids get better, and He's a big bodied guy that could help this team down the road. The fact that bama has used him to help seal the deal with Cam really makes us look bad. That's the type of fact that pundits use against Les to make it look like Saban is schooling him in his own back yard. It hurts perception, which is everything.

Hootie and Cam keep saying that bama is out-recruiting LSU. I don't know how true that is, but they've definitely exploited an angle that Les has abandoned, which doesn't make much sense.

This is the best lineman to ever come out of Louisiana. EVER. You have to cover all angles and pull out all stops to get a guy like that.

I think Les is confident that he can develop the guys we get, which is fine, but you have to get the talent. Fluker went first round while Faulk went undrafted. That's the best recruiting tool imaginable and you can be sure that Saban is milking the hell out of it.

Neither have ever said that Bama was out recruiting LSU. Bama might recruit Hootie harder because LSU already knows what's up, but I doubt they're recruiting Cam harder than us right now.

Kid refused to camp. Not worth our time. And would you take him over Malachi,Speedy, or Quinn? I sure as hell wouldn't.

And we have. If he goes to Bama it was because he liked them more, not about what LSU didn't do.

Chris Faulk tore his ACL. Did you still expect him to be drafted in the first round after not playing at all? And we finish top 5 every damn year, getting talent on campus has never been a problem.

Sometimes you lose a guy. It's that simple. And while I'm not giving up yet, it looks highly unlikely Cam will be committing to LSU. Some kids are just smitten with another school. Ain't anything you can do about it.

Geez you people are a bunch of pussies, you love saban so much go but a crimson shirt and pull for them. Good grief in the last couple of years we are 2-3 against them. In case you haven't noticed lsu has become a national brand and we are bringing in great players from all around the country.
