Kelly is asleep at the wheel on defense if Steeples is still coaching here next year. To say he's in over his head would be a gross undersell. You would think he would be good at recruiting, but he's getting his arse beat.

Our program is a joke. Fire all the coaches !
Except how we have one of the most prolific offenses in the history of college football….. no but we should just fire everyone because we lost a few DBs (that haven’t really been much at the schools they went to)

Everyone on the defensive staff needs to GTFO.
The entire staff needs a makeover on the defensive side, from coaching to recruiting

With the recent news of Berry, and Underwood I figured something bad was coming. Why can’t we ever have good news consecutively?
because our offensive staff are good recruiters and our defensive staff are not.

Honestly, I think this is the simple answer. Problem is the more you miss, the worse the defense is, and the more recruits question whether they will be developed and be able to have other parts of the defense help them do their job better. How good a cornerback looks is effected by whether there is a good pass rush.

It's kinda simple, isn't it? The offensive production is incredible, and the offensive recruiting is pretty good. The defense stinks, and the recruiting is terrible.
It's not on Kelly unless he only recruits the offensive players. The defense staff can't coach, and they're even worse at recruiting. They all have to go. That sends the message to recruits that things are changing. It's the only way.

Hopefully along with the rest of the defensive staff.

The 2 freshman might start next season. They might be getting better with playing time.

We all knew it was coming was just a matter of time. BK came out and said he wants a heavy freshman class. Hopefully they make the staff changes quickly.

Because some 18 year old kid from Florida might want to go to one of the 15 other programs recruiting him that are currently ranked higher including the #4 program in the nation that is only 3 hours away from his home? You drama queens are too much.

The flip to Georgia said it, he's going go a school where he can be developed as a player. The LSU coaches on defense have completely crapped the bed this year.
