There may be a legitimate reason he hasn’t sent it in yet to them but this is “unusual” to say the least.

South Carolina site just confirmed Burch has signed his LOI, but it hasn't been sent in yet "for whatever reason".

There is zero chance that USCe wouldn’t be announceing probably the biggest recruit they’ve ever landed immediately when they received it.

yeah the web page and everything is already made, just waiting to go online. i'm not saying he's coming to LSU but this is SUPER weird if USC won't confirm it

Is it happening, Flo?

We been through so many of these every damn year and yet I'm always caught up in it.

And do you think USC just forgot to report/validate back to the world that they received the fax?

It can take some time to validate a LOI. For example, it took LSU until just a while ago to show Bradford as commitment on it's web site.

FWIW, a LOI signed today must have date and time for both the signee and parent/guardian for it to be valid. If one or the other wanted to play games, all they have to do is leave the time off and it can't be accepted. Someone else filling in the time is the same as forging the signature.

Thanks for bringing a logical/factual response. Your input to this board is always much appreciated (at least by me).

Well...

I don't think O CAN comment on it at this point.

But yeah, Burch will be a gamecock.

Of course he won't say anything about it in this presser.

you can REALLY tell someone is forcing him to go to a school he doesn't want to go to. this should be the best day of his life.. yet this is happening. and I don't think he's doing it for attention. he doesn't seem to like the spot light...

Also frick his highschool. That was no doubt a USC pep rally. can you imagine how awkward it would have been for him to pick LSU. I bet that dirty frick Muschamp insisted he be there today. Like Burch was probably nice and like "yeah Coach I'm still solid".. and dirty arse Muschamp probably put him on the spot and said well if that's the case you should have no problem if I am there to watch you sign... USCe is throwing EVERYTHING at this kid who's a hometown baw… and he STILL doesn't want to come.

I feel bad for the guy. You can tell he's making a decision he doesn't want to do because he's being pressured from every single angle. Even if he doesn't make it to LSU. It apparent he was really a LSU Tiger at heart. Let's not act like it's easy for these kids. For some guys it's literally not their decision. Their coaches and parents will make it seem like it is.. but when they begin to decide against the adults opinion... they press harder and harder. such bullshite.

Just look at TUA... he had NO decision in where he went. I bet that is far more common than people think.

Burch. No matter where you end up.

Dude...have you never watched a Louisiana Signing Day ceremony for a kid committed to LSU?

Do you think every kid who comes to LSU does so with no influence from family, friends, and coaches?

How are you so naive?

I give this board credit. Hope to the bitter end

But seriously though some of yall need to take like one or two steps back. It's an unhealthy obsession with some and theres a lot of unnecessary emotion placed on rumors and random postings from people. I mean this post reads like a frickin crazy person. shite ton of projecting on things you dont know to be true.

Is this your first signing day here? 5 for 5 is one of my favorite board meltdowns of all time.
