Honestly Grimes is doing a great job as OC at BYU. He can recruit quality OL as well...just a thought

Gotta land Thomas. He, Hilton, Smith, Nabers, and Bech is a hell of a class. Don't really give a damn what Bama does. They always get theirs.

No. Maybe that our guys are under rated b/c they were under utilized. Has nothing to do with recruiting.

Chark, Jefferson & Gage were ranked where coming out of HS as WRs?

Chark was 59th in the Nation
Jefferson was 308th
Gage was 74th ranked athlete

The only really miss was Shepard but LSU did improve the stock of Chark, Jefferson and Gage. Blame Les for Shepard's development.

Every one of the Bama guys you listed were T10 or better at WR coming out of HS.

I think the problem before was LSU wasn't getting QBs. Now thats taken care of with Nuss and Howard. LSU is still recruiting in the top 5 almost every year its just that Alabama is on another level.

Ruggs and Jeudy were drafted too high. Jeudy should have been drafted in the bottom of first round and Ruggs in the second round. Jefferson is better than both of them by far. Waddle will not be a great pro. Smith will be very good, but he will need to get more physical. NFL DB’s will muscle him at the line.
